The villa is lovely and the surrounding scenery is all you could wish for in Tuscany. The rooms are individually decorated and preserve the 18th century original style. The bed is comfortable and bathroom is well equipped. The view is of Villa-owned farmland of vineyards and woodland. Beautiful! There is a pool and pretty gardens. No air conditioning, but in June we did not need it. The owner is also chef and provides a lovely breakfast buffet and delicious dinners. This the place for a country get-away not far from Florence.

Jada and Paolo are the most wonderful couple and incredible hosts. We were greeted every morning with Jada's huge smile and warm "good morning", followed by an amazing breakfast. At the end of each day they greeted us at their entrance ensuring our day was perfect and teasing us with what we were about to indulge in for dinner. Again another amazing meal that astounded our group as to how food could be so good! The villa and its history are only surpassed by the beauty of the view over the valley of grape vines and olive trees while sitting in the back gardens or swimming in the pool. This is Tuscany at its spectacular best!

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on a Trafalgar tour. The house and countryside is beautiful, the food excellent, the hospitality splendid. The family gave us a tour of their historic home and fixed us lunch themselves with food they grew onsite.

Along with 14 other travelers in our visit through Tuscany and Umbria, my husband and I stayed at this fabulous villa for three nights. The landscape and landscaping is stunningly beautiful, the building dates back to the 1200s, and the decor is historically accurate. What we absolutely loved was eating romantic and gorgeous and delicious dinners alfresco on the beautiful patio. The food was absolutely delicious, and the hostess was really personable. Our room was gigantic, and had a fabulous view outside the many windows. Definitely recommend staying here, almost like being in a paradise.

Celebrated my 50th birthday with the wonderful people at Villa il Leccio. Giada and Paolo are the best hosts. Romario and crew make the stay even better. The food, the wine, the people. You cannot ask for a better place for a holiday.

It is an amazing location. The owner and cool - Giada is wonderful cook. We enjoyed the history- a unique story of 9 generations. We would stay here a month if possible. A great location in Tuscany. and we hope we can return..

Much more than a hotel, Villa il Leccio is an incredible experience. The owner, the building, the property, the views, the accommodations, the history, the food, the caring and thoughtful service, they are all wonderful. It will be difficult to leave.

This is a beautiful spot and a wonderful old villa. We were there for three days in November so it was too cold to enjoy the pool but the grounds are lovely. All the rooms are different so pick carefully. Some have magnificent Chianti views. The food was unforgettable!! All meals were prepared by our gracious hostess and served by her nephew.
