I can't begin to capture the stunning beauty of the countryside around Villa Bordoni, nor the elegant, comfortable, and tasteful interiors of what was once a stone tower in the Chianti wilderness. This is heaven on earth. The rooms are wonderfully appointed and sizable, the bathroom is beautifully tiled, and the toiletries smell amazing. Breakfast is served downstairs in the comfortable bar area where we spent many a happy hour drinking the house wine. After meeting the gorgeous and vivacious vintner, we liked the wine even more, and now order it by the case to drink at home and reminisce about the most perfect stay in Tuscany. The owners and the staff are all delightful, the food is amazing the grounds are stunning. Villa Bordoni is heaven, and who doesn't want to stay in heaven?

We stayed 3 nights at Villa Bordoni and it was a magical Tuscan experience. The room was very confortable and unique. It was very impressive and charming to stay in a villa from the 11th century. Breakfast was excellent and the area is overlooking the beautiful gardens. Dinner was fantastic and service phenomenal. The staff is very attentive and we highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic! Great place. Friendly people, so relaxing! Just what we needed after 3 weeks of travel. Took the cooking class and it was out-of-sight great!!! What a wonderful experience!!! Room was great and they made us feel so special. Can't find one thing to gripe about. Most important, I think these these people actually care, ....... and it shows.

What a great find this place was. Such a beautiful location in this older, quaint Italian Villa. The rooms are cute, service fantastic, and food incredible. The grounds are beautiful complete with a pool to swim in or just lounge around. Everything is extremely neat and clean. Our only regret was not taking the cooking class.

Quite simply one of the most pleasant and unique hotels I have ever visited, and I have visited a lot of hotels. The bathrooms are all unique and comfortable, which is sort of a big deal. The breakfast is the best. Wine cellar is great. Service excellent. It’s been years (I only put Oct 2023 as my date because 2013 wasn’t available), and I am returning in early November. I hope it hasn’t changed.

What an amazing experience! We were greeting by Ginevra at the front desk; very knowledgeable, warm and welcoming. Our room was very tastefully decorated and quite roomy; spotless. Overlooking beautiful gardens, while other rooms overlook a Tuscan valley. Very peaceful surroundings. All of the staff at the property were very attentive and friendly. Both breakfast and dinner were fantastic with great service. The cooking class that the Villa offers was fantastic and our entire group enjoyed the experience, with generous amounts of tasty local wine offered while cooking. Our stay at Villa Bordoni was quite unforgettable and we will certainly stay at this incredible property when we return to Tuscany. I have no hesitation in recommending this fine property!

Ein wunderschönes Haus in traumhafter Landschaft. Geschmackvoller und authentischer geht’s nicht. Essen, Damen und Herren im Service professionell, freundlich und hilfsbereit, Zimmer ….1 AAA! Waren zum zweiten Mal in diesem Jahr da……und kommen wieder!

We ate dinner at Villa Bordoni one night during our stay at a nearby hotel. The food was delicious, the service was phenomenal, and the atmosphere in the little dining room was lovely. The staff were exceptionally welcoming and accommodating to American guests. Originally, we had planned to sit outside but because the weather was too cold we sat inside and it was still beautiful. We highly recommend that you make a reservation if you are visiting the area. You will not be disappointed. One of our favorite meals in Italy!

I almost never write reviews but Villa Bordoni was incredible. Absolutely beautiful, quiet little property with a beautiful pool and great views. The price felt very reasonable given how nice everything was. The staff was amazing - they coordinated a private car service to get us from Florence to the property. One day, Ginevra saw us walking back from a wine tour in the rain and pulled over to offer us a ride! We also did the cooking class which was fun and made some amazing food. Overall, we had an amazing experience. We wished we had stayed a little bit longer. We will absolutely return next time we travel to Tuscany and we would absolutely recommend Villa Bordoni to all of our friends.
