Villa Rosa has seen better days; it's run down; it seems like no investment has been made. The breakfast is very meager, the heating is poor, the ceiling height is at least three meters, and the tiny heater is mounted at a height of about two meters – warm air rises, and it stays cold down below. The radiators weren't working. The pool had an unappealing dirt rim – but it was too cold to go swimming anyway. We booked dinner a few times, but it was rather mediocre and, like everything in this hotel, too expensive.

Joli hotel de charme.
Hotel dans une grosse maison Toscane. Au bord dune route pas tres passante, mais tres calme. Jolie piscine. La patrone est tres sympa. Seul petit bemol: pas de clim ni de filet anti moustiques aux fenetres. Résultat on a pas pu ouvrir les fenêtres (ma copine se fait systatiquement devorer par les moustiques de 3km a la ronde!) donc on a eu chaud. Je suggere a la responsable de faire installer des stores anti moustiques, quon profite de la fraicheur de la nuit

A lovely villa in the heart of Tuscany
The facilities were great, including access to the swimming pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast options were good. Parking on site. Villa is a 10 minute drive to two lovely Tuscan towns (Greve and Panzano). Would stay here again - it was so atmospheric!

What a disappointment! We were misled about the goods. Certainly the house was a "charming residence" 22 YEARS AGO... The building is dilapidated, poorly maintained. Its environment does not match the photos, the house being on the edge of the road, almost on a bend, families with children should refrain. Minimal reception. Staff limited to a gentleman whose job it is not to prepare breakfast. No exchange, in any language whatsoever. The breakfast is poor, the buffet deplorable, little renewed and mediocre products, except for yogurts. The reservation having been made directly, it was a cross and a banner to pay! Need to ask the gentleman on duty to call the owner, who called back a second time to remotely debit the credit card. Fortunately Panzano is a beautiful place, but it is imperative to look for other accommodation!!!

Ho soggiornato una notte a Villa Le Rose, un posto veramente piacevole. La Villa è molto bella, volutamente arredata in modo classico e con un forte legame al passato. La mia camera era molto pulita, senza TV (finalmente!!), con un bel panorama sui colli del Chianti. Soffitti alti e tanta luce. Letto assolutamente comodo. Il bagno ha tutto, ottimi i prodotti per lavarsi, magari manca qualcosa per appendere gli asciugamani. Colazione dolce semplice ma assolutamente apprezzabile. La zona piscina è un ottimo spazio, l'acqua non era particolarmente invitante, ma credo sia stato un problemino di assenza cloro temporaneo. Bello la notte rientrare e vedere stelle a perdita d'occhio.

Terrible place. Paid 160€ for a dirty and decrepit room. Definitely a place to avoid. Rude owners said that our complaints were aimed at getting a discount. Just look at the Photos on Google to realize what a place this is. A disgrace!

Such a charming home in the tuscan countryside. The owners were lovely and so accommodating. The interior felt historic and rustic while still being clean and comfortable. Breakfast on the veranda was yummy and relaxing. And the resident dog and baby were quite cute too. Perfect for a my purposes, which were a place to stay while in town for a wedding in Panzano.

My husband and I love Villa Rosa and have returned there for many years. We stay in one of the rooms with the large terrace overlooking the valley -- what a view! The nearby little town of Panzano is great and has a couple of good restaurants. Many wineries are within easy driving distance and it is fun touring them and doing wine tastings. We were there about 3 years ago and they cooked and served dinner at the villa. Also they had a good selection of several wines. The dinner and wine were extra, but it was great because there are not so many restaurants in the area and the roads are dark and curvy if you have a couple glasses of wine. It was just so relaxing to have dinner outdoors under the loggia among the flowers, rosemary and olives. Maybe they will start serving dinner again -- probably suspended this service due to the pandemic. The breakfast is lovely. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The setting is just wonderful. If you go in the summer, there is a beautiful pool as well. I don't think you'll find a more enchanting location for your visit to Chianti Country.

Stayed one night in this facility, in a room called Triple Superior. Aside from the decrepit structure and the smell of mold in the stairs, the room was in conditions, to say the least, pitiful. Dead insects on the windows, a floor that hasn't seen a broom for days with tiles that are coming off, a dirty bathroom with Formica and hair in the toilet, the same story in the sink. Shower in shameful conditions. Not to mention the bed where there was obviously hair. Paying 160 euros for a room like that is truly scandalous. I think that anyone who spends any amount to stay in a facility has the right to have an adequate and always decent service. Pay attention to maintenance which is practically absent and above all to cleanliness, because no one should pay to sleep in a place like that.
