A lovely vineyard that worth coming! Staffs are friendly, accommodation is clean and spacious, the Monday wine tour+ dinner is a must do! The fine dining dinner with piano performance made it a romantic experience! What’s more is an infinitely pool that is well maintained! Definitely recommend.

We had the Boticelli room. The room was really Big but the end was very Small and very inconfortable. We hit ourselves on the frame of the bed many Times because the mattress was way to thin.
The shower was very narrow and the hot water was unpredictable. One minute it was very hot and the next cold. When you pay 300$ for a room, you expect better. When we gave this feed-back at checkout, we were offered a bottle of their wine (value of 10 euros).
You really pay for the fact that you are in a old castle (with people buried in the chapel by the way)

Ich habe das Weingut mit zwei Freundinnen besichtigt, wir haben eine Führung von der sehr sympathischen Nadia erhalten, die neben englisch und italienisch auch deutsch und französisch sprach. Dann waren wir zum Mittagessen und zur Weinprobe im Restaurant des Castellos. Die Weine haben uns alle drei sehr gut geschmeckt und das Essen war sehr lecker. Es wurde mir auch eine vegetarische Variante geboten. Unser Kellner Brolio war zuvorkommend und stets freundlich und gut gelaunt. Alles in allem ein gelungener Ausflug und der schönste Tag unseres Toskana Urlaubs!! Das Weingut kann ich nur empfehlen!

Indimenticabile soggiorno, immersi nei vigneti del Chianti, in una struttura dal fascino senza tempo. A coronare questa mini vacanza perfetta, l'impeccabile ospitalità dei padroni di casa e di tutto lo staff. Ristorante a dir poco eccellente. Consiglio vivamente e non vedo l'ora di tornare. Complimenti vivissimi per la passione e dedizione con cui accogliete gli ospiti!

Our stay in Castello Vicciomaggio was a dream location and accommodation in the heart of Tuscany.
It gives the sights, sounds and everything else you want from a winery/stay in Chianti.
It was the most expensive place we stayed while in Tuscany, but gave us the most back in return.
