A huge thank you to Lauren and Maurice for making our stay at the Bojangles Guest House perfect in every way. They greeted us on arrival and from that moment could not do enough to not only make us feel welcome but special too. We could not fault the accommodation at all the rooms are beautifully decorated and have everything you need all presented beautifully. The Bojangles Guest House is a true gem we are so glad we found, we will definitely return.

The best nights stay of our trip on our way back to Scotland. Bojangles is a beautiful, immaculate well styled guest house with very welcoming hosts. Maurice and Loreen gave us lots of information about the area, recommendations of where to have a meal locally and we also got help with our luggage to the rooms. Rooms are spacious, beds super comfy with the best pillows and the added touch of a homemade cookie for each guest was the best! Breakfast was delicious, we had full breakfast and eggs Benedict and everything was perfect. Unlimited tea/coffee and the best service with a smile 😊 An added bonus to the guest house is the facility of off road parking which is well set out and made me feel at ease. Sehr freundliche Betreiber! Ausgezeichneter Service, große Vielfalt beim Frühstück. Hervorzuheben ist der selbstgemachte Joghurt mit Honig und Früchten, den Anna servierte. Der Ausblick auf die Landschaft vom Zimmer aus ist wunderbar.

Its hard to find the perfect place to stay but we did on our recent trip back to Gretna Green. Bojangles is an outstanding place for comfort, food, and the most friendliest of hosts in Maurice and Laureen. Our room was so comfortable and clean and I had the best night's night in the huge bed. You made our 25th wedding anniversary so special with the friendly welcome, thoughtful gift, and amazing breakfasts. Both of you excel in enhancing a guests experience, from bringing you refreshing water after you return from the day and invitations to relax in the gardens. You may arrive as guests but definitely leave as friends. Thank you again. Ian and Denise x

My now husband and I stayed here the night before our wedding at Gretna Green, and we couldn't rate it enough. From the moment we arrived, we felt so welcomed by Maurice and Laureen. The property itself is so beautiful and in such a great location. One of the best, if not THE best, B&Bs I've stayed in. We both slept so well, and felt so comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, with plenty of options. Nothing felt like too much trouble, we were really made to feel special. We were getting married at 3pm, and Maurice was more than happy to accommodate a later checkout time so we could get ready in our room. We only stayed the one night before the wedding, with plans to stay at one of the Gretna Hotels the following evening, but we both said we'd wished we were going back to Bojangles for that second night! And we will 100% be back in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at the Bojangles guesthouse, Maurice and Laureen were very welcoming with some nice little touches such as the homemade cookies on arrival which were amazing. They directed us to a more scenic route for our evening destination and in the morning the cooked breakfast was perfect. We would highly recommend staying at The Bojangles guesthouse.

The experience was amazing. Maurice and Laureen greeted us upon arrival and made us feel welcome. The grounds are beautiful and the parking is well laid out. The room was spacious and the shower was one of the largest we have experienced in our travels in the UK. The most comfortable bed with plump pillows and a be so clean and fresh. We travel to the UK each year and the two nights we spent here will be repeated over the next years as we return. I also loved the breakfast with the best porridge I have had with so many fixings to go with it. My wife enjoyed the cooked breakfast. WE shall return!!

My wife booked this guest house for the Friday night as it was close to Carlisle for the start line ot The Wall Ultra on Saturday morning. The amazing couple who run this place couldn't do enough for us.... Maurice and Laureen are super hosts. They were happy for my wife Sandra to leave early to drop me off, watch me start, then return and get back to bed before they served her breakfast and accommodated a later check out . Not only this, but they left me a goodie bag to take to the race with me!! The guest house was spotless and immaculately presented. On site parking is very helpful, and with several dining options within walking distance. I would happily say that for any Rat Racers looking for Friday accommodation this place is perfect, and only 15 minutes from the start at Carlisle Castle. We would happily return to Bojangles!!!
