Very pleased to find this hotel at 9 pm and they had a room, although the receptionist was unfriendly and looked annoyed for some reason. However the hotel served its purpose - the room was basic and airless but it was clean and quiet with hot water and free parking. Comfortable bed and adequate breakfast but no evening meal on offer. A good stop over but no more

It was 8.30 and I’d had enough, been driving all day. Had hoped to get to the Denmark ferry but ran out of time and energy. Spotted this place right by the motorway. Went to reception and was told by a sniffing woman that they only had one room left, a family room and even though there was only me they still would still charge the full rate for five people, I was so tired I gave in. The room I then discovered was 200 metres away in the separate house, it was sparsely decorated in cheapest pine and the shower on its last legs. The bed though was comfortable and it was all clean enough. At about 2 o’clock I was woken by a tiny light, flashing about every 30 seconds, the fire alarm was directly above the bed! A squidge of toothpaste sorted that. Dinner was ok as was breakfast. €122 euros it was not worth though.

De kamer dateert uit de jaren 70 en werd een "luxe" kamer genoemd, loszittende plinten vies meubilair. Zeer kleine badkamer. Echt, heel verschrikkelijk. Dame bij de receptie kon het werk niet aan. Restaurant had een beperkte kaart en was ook beneden de maat. We zijn zeer teleurgesteld, dit is ook de eerste keer dat ik zo'n slechte recensie schrijf.

The restaurant puts more emphasis on the amount of food on the plate than on the taste. Being unsure in German, I order "Schnitzel", it's usually tasty. This was not the case, the dish just lacked all the flavors. The location as the only restaurant in the place is apparently enough to secure the customers

Es war sicher schwierig für eine größere Gruppe eine Unterkunft zu finden, aber für diese runtergekommene Unterkunft pro Übernachtung 130 € zu verlangen, ist sehr grenzwertig. Das Zimmer war nicht nur klein und abgewohnt, sondern auch dreckig. Beim Föhnen der Haare flatterten die Spinnweben von der Decke und der vorhandene Balkon ist bestimmt seit Saisonbeginn nicht gereinigt worden.

Good Hotel near Heiligenhafen. Big good breakfast and also good restaurang. Prefere room with balkong. Lovely view to the garden. If you like tractors the have a lot of Porsche even a big one! Most take the hotel for travellink stop at the evening.
