Handcuffed today 5.20.2025 true the false accusations. This could be a nice place to stay If you don’t mind having the maintenance guy banging your door aggressively and ordering to get out of the room before your late check out time (gold member) or even worse having the police coming for you because of false accusations. I felt discriminated Humiliated Handcuffed Police will apologize you after that. Rude staff.

I stayed at the Residence Inn Denver Tech Center in May 2025, and unfortunately, this was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The issues started right at check-in. After a long day of travel from Houston, I was told the room key system was down and had to be manually let into my room by maintenance. The room smelled absolutely awful — strong enough to give me a headache. I asked to be moved and was finally switched to a different room after I returned from running an errand. Housekeeping was inconsistent at best and nonexistent at worst. Despite submitting requests via the Marriott app and visiting the front desk several times, the only thing that ever got done was changing the bed sheets. Trash was never taken out, floors were not vacuumed, and basic items like toilet paper and towels were not replenished. I had to personally go to the front desk — sometimes in the rain — just to get essentials. It gets worse. I found bugs in my bed on two separate occasions, one of which looked like a tick. After reporting it, I was told the issue was due to “trees in the area” and that nothing else could be done. I also had to replace my own sheets after a long day at work because housekeeping didn’t show up — again. I spoke with the General Manager who told me the original room I was in had required wall removal to fix a prior issue, which was extremely concerning. She also seemed to deflect responsibility and suggested that I should have come to her directly. After reading other 1-star reviews, I noticed a consistent pattern of similar issues and defensive responses from management. Despite the GM promising enhanced cleaning every other day, that promise was not kept. After finding another tick in my bed and getting no real support, I had no choice but to check out and book a new hotel at 9 PM — an extra and unexpected expense. I had a long-term reservation and was hoping for a quiet, comfortable stay. Instead, it was frustrating, unsanitary, and stressful from start to finish. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Dirty hotel room (1012) at check in. We arrived very late and they were sold out. The attendant had to leave to check that no one was in our room, which was bizarre. When we got in there. It was filthy. Surfaces were visibly dirty, the carpet was un vacuumed and damp/musty in places. We had to wipe things down ourselves to make it acceptable. I sent a message to management right away through our booking app and never heard back. With a sold out hotel we couldn’t move. On check out day, two days later, a cockroach crawled out of the tea and coffee tray. We killed it, placed a glass over it and went to the front desk. She agrees the photo is of a cockroach, apologized and advised they’d get the eco lab out and management in there to confirm and then I’d be refunded. She asked us to leave everything there, which we did. I didn’t hear back that day and emailed the front desk supervisor to check in. She apologized and said that the eco lab couldn’t go out same day due to weather. Shortly after I get a message through ******* from another manager that they did go out same day and found no proof or activity which is not true. They reimbursed us one night ‘for the inconvenience’ but won’t concede to admit the problem and have opted to instead gaslight us about it. Pictures don’t lie. Reading other reviews now, I can see that gaslighting your customers is just the way you roll. Apologizing to your customers for their confusion is poor management and customer service.

This one hotel stay has soured me on staying at any Marriott in the future. An extra fee was added. It should not have been. Multiple calls. The manager was never available, nor did they return any calls. Called the toll free number. They weren't any more help. Basically just going to avoid the brand.

Worst experience Ive ever had at a hotel. I felt so discriminated against by a lady named Tina which has never happened to me that I called the cops. I would never trust this place again and question Marriott for having an employee who demonstrates this king of behavior.
