It's a great hotel to break your drive to Charleston. Convenient and close to food, groceries, and coffee options. Check in easy and staff very helpful. Easily recommended.

The receptionist was very racist and unprofessional as soon as I walked in the door and she seen that my old man was black and I was white she was a black woman that she was canceling my reservation she did not have to rent to me she had to have a reason not to rent to me and that she needs to lose her job really being racist like that this is 2000 2270 to be done as soon as possible

The check in was fine. No problems. Kind lady at the desk. But rhen the wheels came off… The room selection was exactly what my profile said. End of hallway away from elevators and ice machines. Entered the room and it “appeared” ok. Upon further inspection, my wife was like come here and look at this. Total disgust and dissatisfaction. Fingernail UNDER the fitted bed sheet. Huge ball of hair on the bathroom floor…I don’t need to go in. I went to the manager directly, and asked him if you wanted to see the pics or just come to the room himself. He came up. He said he was flexible and would change the room. He was nice enough about it. But, when he changed our room, he did NOT look at my stay preference and put us in a room that was one away from the elevator entry way. Luckily their occupancy was low that night and it was quiet. But definitely not a great first stay here.

This was the first time staying here. We were in the area for a few days for a concert and baseball game and decided to stay here. I have zero complaints. The hotel was very clean, the beds were some of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on in a hotel, staff was very friendly, the continental breakfast was always delicious with a wide variety of food to choose from. The self serve coffee station was nice and the coffee was delicious. I felt like for the quality of hotel it is, it was a decent price for 3 nights. I liked that it was close to a few different restaurants, gas station and grocery store. I felt safe in the area and it was always quite and not rowdy. I will definitely stay here again next time I’m in the area.

It was an okay stay but not going back
For the price we paid we could have stayed at a motel 6. TV was out all night. The internet came back on about 3am because the phone rang, one coffee machine was down because they did not have filter paper the other coffee machine barely worked. I don’t know I just expected better for $152 for the night.
