T.v. was a little hard to see from the bed in the king rooms

Good hotel in a perfect location, right on the main street in downtown Greenville. Very nice lobby, fine staff, reliable WiFi, and rooms were clean and modern. Only two minor criticisms: 1). the king sized bed was situated right against a wall with only a few inches of space to get to the night table; and 2). no safes in the room. Otherwise, nice stay and good rate.

The hotel is in a great location. rooms are nice size and clean.staff is very nice and helpful. A few issues to consider are: limited food options in the hotel. a bunch of restaurants near the hotel so just need to be willing to walk. The biggest issue we had was the restaurant next door that is affiliated with the hotel started pumping club music with a heavy base at 530am. Not the wake up call we were looking for. Front desk said it has happened before and that hotel manager will need to call restaurant manager.Needless to say it was still cranking at 7am.So every room facing the courtyard was awakened at 530am. So don t get a room overlooking the courtyard if you want to sleep past 6am.

Spent 3 nights here while visiting Greenville. Location is great being on main rd next to lots of restaurants and a only a few min walk to the city waterfalls and parks. Good sized room. staff were ok, place felt clean and safe, etc. Would stay here again.

Well equipped rooms. Excellent location very close to Falls Park and many different upscale restaurants. Very walkable neighborhood. $16 per night per car to park in attached garage seemed reasonble, and no need to wait for valet. I liked my walk in shower.

Only one Major detail. They put us in room 321. And it is right above the restaurant. At closing (midnight) they clean their ovens and grills. They use the same vent as the hotel. So I woke up to what I thought was a fire. The front desk told us about the oven cleaning. I had to get some fresh air so I went outside for a bit, hung out in the lobby, then went up to a fire smelling room. I left the door open for about 45 min to get the worst of the smell out. Do not take room 321. That is not good for your lungs or your sleep. After asking 4 times and opening a ticket w Marriott, they finally moved us to a different room but it sounded like they were going to put someone else in that room. Crazy and unacceptable.

My husband, adult daughter & I stayed here for 6 nights to attend the Women’s SEC basketball tournament. We had 2 rooms, one a king bed rooms& the other a king bed suite. The suite was truly a two room suite with a door between living room & bedroom. Both rooms in suite were spacious . The living room had a round table with 4 chairs (big enough for 4 to sit around & eat a meal had we chosen), There was a desk & chair, another chair with ottoman - and a sofa . Downstairs had a large area that served as a bar at night & a cafe in the morning serving Starbucks coffee, fruit, pastries & avocado toast. Next door to the hotel were 2 good restaurants- Ok-U( excellent sushi) & an Italian restaurant that was also good. This was great since we did not get back to the hotel until til around 10pm and hungry. The hotel was about a 15 minute walk to the Bon Secours arena , 5 minutes to downtown shops & restaurants, across the street from the Peace venue. All staff were friendly and helpful. They genuinely seemed to want to make our stay a good one. Our only complaints were the plugs in the night stands were so loose we could not use them in either room. Also when making our reservations 2 months in advance, we requested the rooms be close together. When we got there they told us that was not possible & put us on separate flood All

So I’ve stayed here a few times and it’s a nice hotel. Out of the Marriotts in the Greenville area though this isn’t the best one as the ratings say. Everything is solid good quality but it’s just OK. The restaurant and lobby is top-notch but I’d rather stay at one of the other Marriott brands hotels in the area (like the Springhill).

A beautiful, well maintained facility in the center of downtown Greenville. The staff was very gracious, friendly and helpful in answering questions about the area. The room was very nice, the bed comfortable and I loved the couch/seating area in the room. The hotel is within walking distance of wonderful restaurants, shops, and the parks are fantastic to take a walk, a bike ride or you can around town on a trolley. I highly recommend this property!
