Kineo View Lodge

Booked this for my husband's birthday trip to Greenville to go on a moose safari. We stayed in the suite. The view from our room was beyond spectacular! So very beautiful! It is a quiet, clean, rustic lodge and was perfect for our getaway. The moose theme was perfect for our trip. The large windows gave us a beautiful view of the stars and the night sky as did the balcony. We really enjoyed our stay!

This lodge is a hidden gem! The mountain views are fabulous! The king sized room and suite are spacious and very clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is a nice light start to the day There is a cute moose theme to the entire lodge which was fun since we were visiting to go on a moose safari. This place is a great value! We recommend it!

The hotel was very quiet, very clean. . Fantastic views from windows covering 2 walls of the room . Staff was so nice and helpful. Very comfortable bed with lots of good pillows. Decent breakfast as well. We enjoyed the gift shop as well. Would stay again!

i appreciate the cleanliness of the room and the attention to details. for instance, they provide two ceramic mugs for the coffee maker rather than landfilling disposables…..they provide iron/ board in room , as well as hairdryer, micro, and mini fridge and the view from our balcony was so beautiful and relaxing …about a half mile off the main road, so the only sounds we are hearing are the birds in the nearby wooded area. we will definitely stay again . older building/well maintained

We spent a quick night here -- checking in very late and rising very early for a wildlife tour. However, our experience with the lodge was great. We emailed them a few weeks ahead of time to warn them of our late arrival and early departure. But it was no problem for them. They made arrangements and we were able to get into our room with no issue. The room and bathroom was clean. The bed and linens were comfortable. Pulling off the main road...especially onto Overlook drive...on a gravel road late at night in the deep darkness of the Maine woods was a little unnerving, but you just follow the lane down to the sizable parking area, lodge, and office. The area felt secure and we had no issues. Because we arrived after dark and we were fogged-in in the morning, we can't comment on the view / deck experience. Overall, this was exactly what we were looking -- comfortable and clean accommodations at a reasonable rate.

My wife and I booked a x-country ski trip that started just outside of Greenville Maine. We booked Kineo View Lodge to stay overnight ahead of the ski trip. The temp was 10 degrees and windy. Kineo had turned on the heat and sanded the driveway & path to the rooms. Our room was on the 2nd floor, they had cleared the snow off the steps up to the room and plowed the parking area. The view from our balcony was beautiful, the woman who checked us in was terrific, and the lodge was charming. We will stay there again!

We had the 2nd floor corner room which gave us the best view. There is a small balcony you can sit on to take it all in. The room itself was a good size and included a comfortable recliner and a small table with 2 chairs. It also had a very nice TV, a microwave, and a small fridge. everything seemed clean and well kept in good repair. I would stay there again.

We had a wonderful last-minute stay here. The inn Keeper was very friendly and gave us good information about where we might catch a view of a moose. Our room was on the end with a corner window giving us an expansive and wonderful view of the fields and mountains beyond. The room was clean and spacious with a mini frig and good lighting and a table to eat at. The bed was comfortable. Loved it all.

This is a family run lodge and felt like a lodge should feel. It was a little outside of town but close by, was in a quiet area and had spectacular views. The decor was cute and appropriate for a Maine lodge. The room was exceptionally clean and the beds were comfortable. We slept well and did not notice any noise from the other rooms. The balcony was great for drinking coffee in the morning and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was (as advertised) truly a continental breakfast with muffins, poptarts, granola bars, yogurt, etc but was perfect for grabbing a quick snack after looking for moose on an early morning drive. We really enjoyed our stay here and will stay again when back in the area.
