The hotel wasn't the problem. It was TripAdvisor that I booked my room through. A nightmare when we got to the hotel to get our room. We booked a suite through TripAdvisor and TripAdvisor made a mistake and booked us a standard room. I truly don't think this was a mistake it was a misrepresentation telling us that we're going to get a suite for a certain price in that same price we paid for the suite is what they were charging us for the standard room. Then we had to call TripAdvisor which took another hour and a half to figure it out to come to find out that we had to pay an additional money for the suite and get reimbursed later on. So TripAdvisor wanted us to give them the receipt of the mistake they already made. I would never go through TripAdvisor and I would suggest the same thing anybody else

Disappointed with My Stay at Microtel Inn & Suites
To whom it may concern,
I recently stayed at the Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham, and I want to share that I was quite disappointed with my experience.
The room had no refrigerator, which was unexpected and inconvenient.
There was rust on the towel hanger, and the bathroom faucet kept dripping.
The tub knob was loose, making it difficult to use.
Breakfast was not what I expected — very limited options.
Most concerning, the room was not cleaned daily, which surprised me, as I assumed housekeeping would be provided each day.
Overall, this stay fell short of my expectations, and I will not be staying at this hotel again.

Very unhappy with the service. The towels or the sheets were not changed only by request. So in other words I’m to use dirty towels and sheets every day. The breakfast bar was very minimal..Overall very disappointed with the hotel.

First room did not adequate AC, second room the front of the AC unit fell off on floor,the lock mechanism did not shut the door and would not shut locking, third room someone left the window open and A/c would work and the fourth room the electricity only worked in half of the room. Finally was offered a room that was partially furnished but enough to sleep in and was okay.
The breakfast juice machine did not work, processed food and old…..tried to reserve another night, but did not accept points nor was anyone able to assist with a reservation, because it was not their job or they were instructed to not offer. Room keys failed consistently and no resolution to any maintenance issues.
Would not recommend due to shabby maintenance, lack of any assistance for another stay…..just tiring

Not a 5* location but at half the price, it was clean, the desk staff was friendly, and as 2 senior women we felt safe. It is convenient to the hospital and dining. Will absolutely stay again if the need arises. No coffee pot in the room but available 24hrs in the lobby.
