The hotel and room were very nice. But the free breakfast was a joke. We went around 8-8:30am and there was eggs, sausage, a few muffins left, and a few yogurts left. No cereals, no fruits, no bagels or toast. We ended up going out to buy breakfast. When breakfast is included it just makes the mornings a bit easier, one less place to drive to go get food. I usually will only book hotels with breakfast included. Not going back to a Fairfield Inn anytime soon if that is their idea of serving breakfast to their guests.

Stayed here Sept. 22 and breakfast was not ready at 6:30 am as advertised. Staff working the kitchen was slow because at 6:45 food was still not ready. We stayed here again last night and will NEVER stay here again. No hairdryer in room, couldn't get the mini refrigerator to work. Breakfast at 7:25am was terrible. Food was completely out, coffee cold, no silverware or plates. Simple things like condiments, nuts, bagels were completely empty. Alerted the kitchen staff and he had an attitude. Went to the front desk to speak with the manager and he was just as bad. This is not what I am used to at a Fairfield Inn. AVOID this place because they just don't care.

I reserved a room for a volleyball tournament. Drove 2 hours and 40 mins to get there. Paid when booked. Checked in online. Even tried to chat and ask why my mobile key wasn’t given to me yet. Get there and am told they over booked. Manager stated that Fairfield over books expecting people to cancel. What in the world. I hope this isn’t a brand thing. Just a I’m sorry is what I got. Done this to multiple people. I recorded a video of the man in front of me and the poor girl that didn’t know what to do. Manger didn’t want to come down. She was upstairs sleeping while leaving a employee that had only been working there 3 weeks to handle their mess up. She practically had to beg her to come down and said multiple times she needed her. I felt sorry for the employee. The manger comes and didn’t do any good . She did have her employee call one place for us across the street. Bare minimum done. Just a oh well. Didn’t seem sorry in the least bit or try to make anything right! Normally stay every year . Will never again! I will be contacting corporate! So now I have a charge release that will take days to come back on. Very unhappy doesn’t begin to describe how angry I am.

If it wasn't for the fact that my room was quiet and the bed comfortable, this would be two stars. I regularly stay at Marriott properties and am one of their "elite" members. This was a disappointment. Where to start? First, if you have to park in the back, you have to walk nearly around the whole hotel to reach a door that your card will open. That would be horrible if it were raining, and bad enough if you arrive on a cold and windy night, as I did. The bathroom was a joke. Both the porcelain surface and glass shower door had been chipped, and two of the dispensers which pump shampoo/conditioner/wash had come off the wall and placed in the soap dish. Our room was adjacent to two large A/C units and illuminated by the parking lot light. Fortunately, it was winter (so they weren't running) and my wife brought her eye mask. Oh, and ignore the fact that there's a wall thermostat...heat and A/C are controlled by the unit itself. Breakfast was equally short of expectations even by ordinary "free breakfast" standards. The caffeined coffee dispenser was missing, and the scrambled egg pan empty of anything but a few yellow crumbs. The only hearty option was pre-wrapped (and dried out) bacon/egg biscuits. I noticed other patrons asking for waffle batter and maple syrup, so, obviously, that was gone, too. Stay here again? No.

The staff that runs this business is morally bankrupt. My husband accidentally booked here although I needed to stay 27 miles away in Kinston to assist with and attend a funeral. I explained the situation including that I did not have transportation back and forth to Greenville. However, the staff including GM "Melissa" decided to keep my full 2 night stay payment. Most of us work in an ethical environment where if no service is provided then no fee is collected. That is the nature of and cost of doing business. However, this group has deemed itself excused from the norms of human decency. Please vote with your wallet and stay elsewhere.

Posting anonymously due to safety concerns: I recently stayed at this hotel and would caution you if you decide to stay here. Upon check in, I was told my room was not available and would it be ok to move me to a different room type? This obviously was fine until after check out, when I discovered they charged me as if I had requested an upgrade (I had not and would not have). When I called to sort out the issue, I was told that my room was in fact available at that time and there was no reason I would've needed a different one. So issue #1- lied to about availability of the room I had booked and then fraudulently charged around $350 more than I agreed to. Then, the room they moved me to was nice. It was on the top floor at the end of the hall, next to a stairwell. At the time I thought nothing of it, assuming it was a gesture for not having my room. Now that I know I was lied to, I have to wonder why I was given this room in particular when others were available? Were there cameras inside the room recording me? The room was next to an exit point, was there a plan to sex traffic me? I am a female staying alone. Repeated calls to the hotel to speak to a manager proved unsuccessful. After TWO WEEKS and calls to Marriott corporate, the hotel finally contacted me and offered to refund the difference for what I was incorrectly charged. At this point, that is not enough. I fear for my safety. If you do stay here, check your room for hidden cameras. Double lock your doors. Don't stay here alone. And be aware if they try to put you in a different room than you booked. Also- which I didn't even mention to begin with because I was so appalled by the charges and safety issues- there were other, minor issues with the room. 1- there were small black hairs in the shower (not mine). 2- the coffee maker was missing an entire pieces needed to let it function. 3- despite requesting housekeeping once during my stay which I requested during check in on the app, it never happened.

Definitely a -5!!!! Stayed at Fairfield Greenville July 30th - Aug 2nd 2022. Would have paid for my stay from May through priceline. Arriving at the hotel on the 30th @2:31am I met the clerk who checked me in he stated that my room was on hold that i had to pay $680 + $80 holding fee. I said to him I already paid because the rep said i couldn’t get the room unless i paid he kept saying no no no I say yes. At this point i’m very sleepy for traveling for nearly 24hours so i handed him the card where i was charged a total of $760 Keep in mind I paid $504.00 already through priceline. So i visit the front office the next morning after checking my bank statement where I met a different gentleman at the desk checking the system he say oh yes & he’s sorry he’ll need to get his manager because there is multi stuff needed to be done to refund me what was charged at the hotel & that he’ll return a call back. Taking my phone numbers & I left the hotel for the day return shortly after 10pm that night not a call received I stop at the front desk where I would met a next clerk who Identified himself as Mr.Lee front office manager & said he wasn’t aware of this matter thinking to myself how did they do a hand over if the front office manager wasn’t informed about the guest being charged twice for one room. He then search the computer system & asked if i sure i use my name to checked in & if i was sure my room # was 407 Confused i was like what ??? who else name would I use & I paid with my card & was asked for identification. That’s when it became clear the level unprofessional was at a all time high. He apologized & then assured me he sort it out & also return a call back. Waited but there was no call. So I Call back where i would speak to a different rep this time a female where she apologized & stated that I had charges & giving me a different room number & cards attached to my name. Checking my bank statement where I was charged again this time $241.83 furious at this point Where i clearly stated that they need to check the camera system at the hotel I stayed in room #407 & they would be able to verify my activities at the hotel if they checked. Calling again this would be the 12x where I would speak to the next manager after going back & forth with him it was clearly he wasn’t understanding & thought he was correct shortly afterwards he said he’ll have all the funds return & i should give it until Monday which would’ve been the 8 August 2022. It’s now 16th of August 2022 & I have yet to receive my money. Sent both Jayne & Lee emails & left voice messages. They both have yet to respond since we last spoke. All i want is my funds what was charged at the hotel again after paying through priceline. It’s beyond frustrating & I’ve been more than lenient with this group of ppl. ( Spoke to Lee about 7x, Jayne 1x, Shai 2x, another male rep 3x). Call the hotel again today & spoke with a female name Shai (second time) She is the only individual who genuinely
