Spark by Hilton Greensboro

Booked two night stay for nearby UsAmTour golf tournament. Checked in Friday evening. Booked on Hilton app and requested a digital key. Had to go to front desk because digital key never delivered. Got card key. Saturday morning went to breakfast at 6 am. When I returned to my room the card key wouldn’t open door. Went to front desk and after 10 or 15 minutes finally found a staff member. She checked my card key and said it was good . She went to my room with my key and was unsuccessful opening the door . She said the problem was the door lock battery. She explained they didn’t know when the batteries went bad. She then explained that the maintenance person would arrive in about 30 or so minutes to replace the batteries. After about 45 minutes the maintenance person arrived and 5 minutes later the batteries were replaced and I could get back into my room. I had to wait almost an hour because no one could replace except the maintenance person. Later that same morning I tied to use the in room safe. It didn’t work. A different person came and replaced the batteries. I’m a Hilton Diamond member and I was very disappointed that my room had so many problems.

Nice hotel in a good location. Room was nice and clean, and the breakfast buffet was smaller than other Hilton properties but the staff kept everything stocked.

Dirty Our room was very big but it was very dirty the sheets were nasty, the sink had toothpaste in it and the shower had hair all over it. The floors were dirty with crumbs the room overall was just nasty.

I had to cancel my ******* reservation with travel protection because our daughter came down with Covid in High Point…not happy…it wasn’t part of the trip cancellation policy
