SpringHill Suites Greensboro

The staff were both friendly and helpful. Good breakfast, which was nurtured by an industrious, congenial young lady. Only a single elevator. A decent shower which unfortunately was surrounded by moldy caulk. Poor lighting for shaving. Our suite needs to be updated. The walls are thin. Renovations have shut down the top floor. The parking lot is small and some of the parking spaces are now taken by the renovation materials and dumpsters. There are geese droppings on the exterior sidewalks. Watch where you step.

I stayed at this hotel based on the reviews. I wish I had stayed somewhere else. Let met start out by saying that the hotel staff was extremely friendly which is why I did not give it a 1 star rating. Everyone I interacted with was great! They are trying to update this hotel and there was construction going on while I was there. I was in a remodeled room but couldn't help notice that it was a mix of new and old. In the bathroom, there were chipped tiles, the tub looked older than me and the shower head and sink fixtures were very old. Even in the remodeled bedroom, the lamp shade had water stains and part of the steel window frame had been stripped away. I felt that there was an issue with housekeeping, when I checked into the room, there was a used tissue between the bed and nightstand. There was bubblegum on the carpet, and the mirrors hadn’t been cleaned, I could see the splash marks. The room did not feel clean. After a couple of days, we ran out of toilet paper and conditioner, so I requested housekeeping to service the room. They made the bed and replaced the towels but didn’t restock the TP or the conditioner.
