Wow, My wife and I stayed at The doctors house and we were amazed at the clean large room!, The food and service was awesome,,The staff clearly love their job, The ponies were sweet not to mention the grounds and trails were a plus! , Highly recommend at least a couple night for sure, Thank you to all staff who made our stay magical!

My husband & I enjoyed a delightful weekend at the Doctors House . The room was comfortable plus plus and the view was pure delight , it looked out over the ocean. The grounds were magnificent with walking trail’s everywhere. The food was gourmet and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Sunday evening The Spirit of Newfoundland productions played at the palatial barn /dining hall , it was a show not soon to be forgotten. They performed “Where Once they Stood “ a very moving performance that could and should be on Broadway. Of course we spent time at the spa, pure delight. The weekend at the Doctors House was one of peace and relaxation, truly a little piece of heaven.

I absolutely cherish this place and every minute I spend there. Stayed here multiple times and have never ever been disappointed. The glorious property is breathtakingly stunning and the rooms, food and service are second to none. Every wish is granted. Do not hesitate to book your next stay here! Can't wait to return.

I just can’t get over how amazing my stay was here. The fall scenery and landscaping were magnificent! I truly felt as if I had entered another world when I came to The Doctor’s House. I felt an air of serenity call around me, I felt at peace and was very comfortable. The Inn itself is absolutely gorgeous. Each room what is super comfortable with a great bed and a great view. The art everywhere really adds to the atmosphere. Service was impeccable and the staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing! We enjoyed going down to the cliffs and having a campfire, we loved walking along the trails, and we adored all of the animals…goats are my new favourite animal! The ponies were fun to feed as well. Can’t go wrong with a great hot tub and getting warm afterwards by the big stone fireplace :) I came here with a few girlfriends but I am definitely recommending this place to everyone I talk to and I am going back soon with my family this winter. I bet this place is a real winter wonderland and my kids would love it! Talking to the staff, I can just imagine how beautiful this place is in every season. From talking with friends it seems that we have all really enjoyed our stays here. If I ever get married, this is where I want to be for my special day!

Our visit to the doctors was a fantastic experience. The amazing food and service and the beautiful views and hikes, our time spend here was truly breath taking. I highly recommend the doctors house for anyone looking to experience on of the most beautiful getaways on this island.

Would like to thank the Doctors house for a amazing stay .I have stayed here multiple times. Every time I stay I find something to get excited about and makes me want to return again. The grounds are breathtaking especially in the fall. Love walking throw the leaves and different paths in the woods. Wow the beautiful Colours of the trees and the animals that you see on your adventure. Open your window and listen to the waves ,birds and multiple animals. You would never think you were only a hour away from the busy city. So peaceful it’s just like a retreat .Great place for a romantic getaway,girls night or even a peaceful night by yourself. My recent stay was on Nov 6 .I attended a show and dinner. It was amazing. I gotta applaud the doctors house for organizing this event. I have attended many events like this in New York and Vegas. They don’t compare to this event. The doctors house event was so welcoming and cozy feeling. Not overcrowded. Jerry and Emily were amazing hosts. Dinner once again did not disappoint. I am unable to digest protein so the chef always accommodates my menu. During my stay this time I stayed at the guest house. This place will not disappoint.The beds were so comfy. Had a wonderful sleep. Beautiful decor and extremely clean. I especially loved having my own kitchen ,living room and a wood fireplace that was so cozy on a cold fall night. The patio of the living room has a hot tub overlooking the grounds ,amazing relaxing views. Can’t forget to mention breakfast,I never eat breakfast but always sets my alarm to attend breakfast. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. You will always leave with a smile on your face and relaxed. Wishing you didn’t have to leave. That’s why I always book my next stay before I leave. Planning on returning in a few weeks for another show and dinner.

Wow! Amazing place to go and recharge! Absolutely stunning grounds with beautiful greenery, flowers, animals, and the most stunning sunsets over the ocean. The trails are well kept that lead to the ocean with a sitting area where you can light a fire sip some wine and listen to the beautiful sounds of nature. A couples paradise in the great outdoors. The main house is beautiful with local art on display that is very intriguing. The rooms are gorgeous with some views overlooking the grounds and ocean. The beds are so comfortable you want to sleep in each morning. We also enjoyed our massage and eyebrows done at the spa! Staff are fabulous and go above and beyond. The secret garden restaurant in my opinion is a 5 star. Food is local and is prepared with such thought and skill. I wish I could go there every weekend to recharge! It's a must do to experience the peaceful tranquility that everyone needs for self care. ✨️

The grounds and setting are beautiful. Cannot complain about the setting and appearance one bit. Well maintained and charming. We stayed in the chalet rooms off to the side. They are singular room cabins , like a little motel room. We had a rotting foot long sub in our mini fridge. Poor first impression. Very unpleasant smell! Not a room on the premises has a television. For the value spent for a room at a spa resort they give their guests cheap and minimal toiletries. The rooms in the doctors house are nicer for sure than the little chalet rooms. But knowing the charge on those it was shockingly too expensive.
