Beautiful bed and breakfast with gorgeous views. Close to shops and restaurants but far enough to be private and quiet. Will definitely be coming back

The perfect weekend getaway! We stayed here for our mini moon and couldn't have asked for a better weekend! We loved hanging out at the inn and getting to know Leueen and the other guests. The inn is walking distance to the main streets and the train. Will definitely visit again!

We had a fabulous time staying at Harbor Knoll for three nights on a simply gorgeous November weekend. It was a celebration of my dad's 85th birthday and we all had a fantastic time. Leueen was a fabulous innkeeper and we really enjoyed our lively conversations and hearing about her fascinating life. The location was perfect and the sunrises and moonrises were spectacular in addition to the proximity to town. Greenport is lovely! So many great restaurants, coffee shops, and other shops. We enjoyed dinners at Claudio's, Front Street Station and The Frisky Oyster. All very different experiences and types of dining and food but each was enjoyable. (Jordan was our server at the Frisky Oyster and he was outstanding and Kathy had us laughing at Front Street Station). Jumping off the dock into the chilly harbor was exhilarating! We really loved watching the Shelter Island ferry go back and forth and enjoyed our day trip to Shelter Island, Sag Harbor (lunch at the American Hotel was fabulous) and Montauk. We visited two North Fork wineries the second day (One Woman and Croteaux...both not to be missed!). The bed and pillows were very comfortable and the room had great views of the harbor. The little bar at the Inn where we enjoyed Happy Hour each day was also a treat. Thank you for a wonderful getaway to a lovely place on the planet!

Our experience at Bread & Breakfast was incredibly disappointing from start to finish. Here’s a detailed account of our stay: Reservation Issues: Initially, it was impossible to make a reservation online, so I called and booked over the phone. I reserved from Thursday to Sunday, but a few days before our trip, I called to confirm and found out they had our reservation from Saturday to Tuesday. They refused to refund our money, so we decided to go on Saturday. Unwelcoming Arrival We arrived around 5 PM, and the owner's son gave us a tour of the cottage and grounds. He informed us that the pool was only available for guests from 10 AM to 3 PM, and after that, it was reserved for the owner's use. This was shocking and unacceptable, especially considering we were paying $750 a day. Poor Accommodation Conditions: The cottage was dirty, with two malfunctioning air conditioners and a broken washing machine. There was no cleaning service, and the "gourmet breakfast" was a joke. The first day, we were served a boiled egg without butter, bread, and French toast. The second day, we got scrambled eggs and blitz, and we had to bring our own bread. The pool was filthy, and the whole property seemed like it hadn't been cleaned in years. Early Departure: We ended up leaving at night before our check-out date because it was impossible to stay there any longer. Final Verdict Do not waste your money on this place. A three-star hotel in town was much cleaner, and their pool was available for use after 7 PM. I highly recommend avoiding Bread & Breakfast – run, don't walk, away from this place.

The Inn at Harbor Knoll is a very special B&B. It is within walking distance to Greenport, the LIRR and the ferry to Shelter Island. The host and her assistant are very warm and welcoming. They provide a delicious breakfast in a lovely room overlooking the bay. The room I stayed in was cozy and meticulously clean with touches such as robes, fluffy pillows and books. I was provided with beach towels, a spectacular view and chocolates at the entrance.
