Check-in was incredibly complicated and completely self-service. I doubt the average tourist would even be able to get through the main door. How do you manage the self-service access control? The logic doesn't make sense! My friend, who lives here, came to my rescue at lightning speed. The receptionist I met was a property manager. He didn't care how you booked the room, nor did he even check your check-in receipt. He simply said, "We don't care. We haven't received any updates. We won't give you a key." We called Charles Hope ourselves, and the Indian English operator would have easily outmaneuvered 90% of our compatriots. I suggest Ctrip conduct a stricter review. This isn't a hotel, it's a secondary rental agency. It's better to book with Airbnb, where the questions and answers are quicker. There were other people's hair in the bathtub and sticky food residue on the plate. The male receptionist at the door was extremely volatile. He started complaining the moment I approached, before I even started talking... If I hadn't been in a hurry, I would have complained!

Lovely property that ticked most of the boxes, but for the fact that they provide no direct access car parking in the building. One has to park in a car park quite a way from the main building and that makes for unnecessary hassle when one has mobility issues and sizeable luggages requiring multiple trips to another road where the car park is located and walk back all the way.
