I had a lovely time at Fynbos Ridge! Such a wonderful place! Liz & Brian are wonderful hosts. My room was big, quiet and clean – the bed was huge and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. Very flexible with check out timings, which was highly appreciated. The right place to stay for solo travellers and families. Just a few min out of Plett.

Stayed here for 4 nights and can highly recommend, it's so beautiful, peaceful and serene and just a short drive into Plett. Cottage was really lovely and had all the amenities needed. Open fire ready to be lit in the main bedroom was a treat and we did light it and happily lay in bed on the cold nights with my book and the fire crackling, pure bliss. Brian and Liz were very helpful and couldn't have been nicer. Loved the doggies too.

We had just the best stay at Fynbos Ridge. Amazing property - top quality all round. Cottage very well supplied and we throughly enjoyed our time there - wish it could have been longer! Fabulous pool, stunning views, and only a few mins drive into Plett. Wonderful outdoor bbq area. Totally delicious breakfast in the main house as well. SO pleased we found you - will def return if we can! Thank you so much.

We stayed at Fynbos ridge for 3 nights, a family with two young kids 10 and 7. The place was very convenient, neat and clean. It was very cold so didn't use the pool. Mostly we stayed in next to the fire in the cozy cottages. Well worth the money

We stayed in one of the cottages in July for two nights and all wished we could have stayed longer. The cottages are well furnished, have everything you need including an open fire in the lounge and master bedroom. Anyone staying here, you are in for a treat. The views from the pool are magnificent (recommend an early morning to catch the sunrise) and the dark nights full of stars. You have to visit to appreciate its beauty. Thank you to the team for your hospitality and welcome - we were truly blessed to have stayed here - Fynbos Ridge is definitely on the list to return too. X

Our stay at the little private cottage in "Fynbos Ridge" was an experience we'll treasure forever. Tucked away in the stunning landscapes behind Plettenberg Bay, this gem offered us an unforgettable blend of luxury, nature, and exceptional service, proving to be worth every penny.
The highlight of each morning was breakfast on their terrace, where we were greeted with breathtaking views of the lush valley stretching out beneath us. It was not just a meal; it was an experience, enhanced by the serene beauty of our surroundings. Though the views were not of the ocean, the sweeping vistas of the valley were spectacular in their own right, offering a unique and mesmerizing beauty that captivated us throughout our stay.
Fynbos Ridge boasts an excellent view of the valley, especially notable during sunset. Watching the sky paint itself in vibrant hues while the valley beneath us transitioned into evening was a daily spectacle we looked forward to. The pool, a tranquil oasis, provided a perfect vantage point for these moments, adding a refreshing touch to our sun-drenched afternoons. The kids loved it!
The attention to detail and care from the staff was exceptional. Not only was our room kept in pristine condition, but the surprise of finding our car cleaned was a testament to the unparalleled service and thoughtfulness that Fynbos Ridge offers.
While slightly pricier than other options, the value received in terms of amenities, views, and service was incomparable.

Excellent in every respect. Wonderful setting and accommodation, beautifully decorated, the best breakfasts and great hosts - Brian and Liz. Can’t recommend highly enough. We were a family group of 5 and just couldn’t have stayed at a nicer place.

Die Besitzer Liz und Bryan sind tolle Gastgeber und haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen. Das Anwesen ist sehr schon gelegen - rund herum Natur pur mit vielen Vögeln, Schmetterlingen und manchmal sieht man auch Affen. Man muss sich bewusst sein, dass man sehr ablegen wohnt und für alles das Auto braucht. Plettenberg ist 10-15 min mit dem Auto entfernt; Knysna etwa eine halbe Stunde. Das Frühstück und die Pool-Area waren super; das Zimmer war auch gut, auch wenn schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Für uns eher ein 4-Sterne und nicht ein 5-Sterne-Haus.
