High Season Farm Luxury Cottages

The valley is a must see if you enjoy wine and nature. High Season is a perfect place and stay to visit all the beautiful wineries. One point for improvement: the kitchen area wasn’t that clean. It was my second stay at High Season and I can recommend it to anyone

We had a fantastic stay in the Protea Cottage which has probably the best view on both sides of Hemel and Aarde vallei. The animals on the farm are very curious and wandered around our cottage. Could not wsh for a better magic place for sunsets and sunrises and hikes. Wineries are close by. We had a very good breakfast two times at Newton Johnson Wines.

Our week long stay at High Seasons Farm was 100% pleasure from start to finish. Great instructions on locating the farm, easy access and check in. Superb accommodation in idyllic and peaceful countryside. We were spoilt by all of the staff who were efficient, helpful and friendly. We look forward to returning in the future.

Back again and it was just as good. We stayed in Agapanthus Cottage (a two bed) and it was as comfortable and well appointed as we remembered - just the sofas had changed since our last visit. The pool area is amazing - the views across to the mountains as you lay on a comfortable sunbed and the large pool itself cannot be matched anywhere. Running the gauntlet through the friendly cows is always fun as well. Clean, well located, and comfortable.

We had an amazing time at this beautiful place. The condition of the Cottages was superb and the service from staff top notch. We will definitely go again. We had 6 out the 8 Cottages Hosting 33 of our family members. We loved every moment.

We stayed for one night in transit from Knysna to Aquila, but we WISH we had stayed for longer! We booked a cottage for 4 but were upgraded to one which slept 6 and just had the most beautiful views of the mountains. Honestly, it was breath-taking and none of the pictures I've seen on here even do it justice. The views were beautiful so we spent lots of time on our patio (our cottage was right in front as you drive in), simply sipping wine and enjoying it. Also, the cottage was exceptionally clean and comfortable, very spacious and had everything we needed. The rooms were stunningly decorated and the beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept in! Even my teenagers agreed with this. And we have slept in very comfortable beds before as we are very picky. We enjoyed walking around the farm and sitting by the poolside, which was lovely. A peacock walked right up to us near the pool which was amazing and the cows mooing in the fields were so lovely to listen to. Everything was really peaceful and idyllic. You will possibly be woken up by cocks cockadoodaling in the morning, but this didn't bother us at all as we like rising early on holiday. All communication with Jani and staff we pleasant and welcoming. I would definitely recommend you to stay there if you are looking for beautiful, peaceful surroundings and I wouldn't hesitate to go back one day - in fact I definitely know I will, for a longer stay and more exploration of Hermanus itself, which I believe is lovely too.
