We recently had a great overnight stay at 138 Marine Beachfront Guesthouse. Both our room and the living room had direct view of the magnificent Indian ocean and we could do whale watching or see the lovely sunset without having to leave the property. The only regret we have is that we only staid one night.

Wundervolle Unterkunft mit tollen Gastgeberinnen, mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Das Haus ist wirklich erstklassig, die Lage etwas abseits von Hermanus direkt am Wasser. Fantastische Sonnenuntergänge sind garantiert. Kleine Joggingstrecke am Meer entlang unbesorgt möglich. Die Gastgeberinnen sind unheimlich freundlich und hilfsbereit, haben uns morgens um halb sieben schon Frühstückspakete vorbereitet, da wir früh zum Whalewatching gefahren sind. Eine kleine Schramme wurde sofort von ihnen verarztet und man wurde stets mit guten Tipps zur Umgebung versorgt. Frühstück war auch ein Traum!!

Tijdens onze roadtrip door Zuid-Afrika hebben we een onvergetelijk verblijf gehad in 138 Marine Beach House in Hermanus. Vanaf het moment dat we arriveerden, voelden we ons welkom. Het huis is prachtig ingericht, stijlvol, licht beachy, maar tegelijkertijd warm en met het nodige modern comfort (wi-fi, Netflix, vloerverwarming)… alles straalt zorg en oog voor detail uit. De ligging is absoluut uniek – direct aan zee, met een adembenemend uitzicht en een forse branding die je elk moment van de dag kan bewonderen (probeer zeker een kamer met zeezicht te bemachtigen) Het geluid van de golven, de frisse zeelucht en de spectaculaire zonsondergangen (vanuit het salon ) maakten ons verblijf extra bijzonder. Ook de gastvrijheid verdient een speciale vermelding. Alles was perfect geregeld en we voelden ons echt in de watten gelegd. Van tips voor terrasjes, activiteiten, restaurants en secret gems tot het extra vroege ontbijt en het warme souvenir bij ons afscheid… Kortom: 138 Marine Beach House is een plek die we iedereen van harte aanbevelen. The house has an enviable location: oceanfront! Gorgeous! The rooms are very well-kept, the bed is very comfortable. The bathroom is comfortable and a decent size, with a very large shower. The common areas are beautiful, with attention to every detail. The entire property is very clean. The breakfast is rich, complete, and well-served. The owners are very kind and help guests with information about getting around Hermanus. It's a shame we only stayed one night; it's the most beautiful property we've stayed in South Africa! Thank you!!! -- La casa ha una posizione invidiabile: fronte oceano! Stupendo! Le stanze sono molto curate, il letto è comodissimo. Il bagno è confortevole e di dimesioni adeguate, la doccia è molto grande. Gli spazi comuni sono molto belli curati nel minimo dettaglio. L'intera struttura è molto pulita. La colazione è ricca, completa e ben servita. Le proprietarie sono gentilissime e aiutano gli ospiti con le informazioni necessarie per muoversi a Hermanus. Peccato essersi fermati solo una notte, è la struttura più bella in cui abbiamo soggiornato in Sud Africa! Grazie!!!

Bellissima la casa, arredata con gusto e molto pulita.Le grandi vetrate delle stanze e del salotto comune da cui puoi godere dei bellissimi tramonti sull’oceano sono meravigliose. Abbondante e buona la colazione. Host molto gentile e disponibile. A pochi minuti di auto dal centro di Hermanus.Molto molto consigliato

Prestation haut de gamme, lieux magifiques avec fleurs fraîches en déco, accueil très chaleureux des propriétaires, de bons conseils pour visiter les environs. Petites attentions agréables : chocolats, prévisons météo pour le lendemain, mot d'accueil en français. Endroit calme, vue magnifique. Un moment hors du temps.

We spent a wonderful relaxed stay at 138 Marine Guesthouse made special not only by the comfortable decor , wonderful view of the sea and beach but also by the warm and welcoming service provided by Meryl and Storm. Thank you for making our stay so special. The breakfasts by Mundi were delicious and she was so happy to accommodate our special requests. We will return.
