I'VE HAD A LOVELY STAG AND ROOM WAS VERY CLEAN

I recently stayed at The Kensington in Great Yarmouth and was genuinely impressed — an excellent experience from start to finish! The hotel offers fantastic value for money, especially considering how well-maintained everything was. My room was spotless, tidy, and the shower was powerful and refreshing — just what you want after a long day in the sun. The bar and bar area were standout, welcoming and relaxed, making it a lovely spot to unwind with a drink. Breakfast each morning was another highlight — tasty, and served with a smile. Speaking of smiles, every member of staff we encountered was incredibly friendly and helpful, adding warmth to the entire stay. One last bonus — it's a brilliant place to stay if you're travelling with dogs. Ours felt just as welcome as we did! All in all, a great experience and one I’d absolutely recommend to others. 👏🐾

Stayed recently for 2 nights with the Mrs. Hotel downstairs is very nice with a nice bar and seating arrangement! Room was nice a freshly painted to a decent standard, especially given the time the two very hard working decorators have to turn them around after chatting with them over a couple of nice cold beers! In fact the stay was a good laugh with them and the carpenter who was staying! Haven’t laughed like that for a long time! Also Sonia the Manager was a good laugh to and works incredibly hard with her team! Will definitely be coming back!

We booked this 'Hotel' after looking on website and bed and breakfast and restaurant, also ask for a sea view double room. On arrival the barmaid gave us the keys, one for room and one for outside door, went to room on top floor 'in eves' room was really small and don't think the bed was a double it was too small for both of us to lie side by side. Bathroom had a bath toilet and sink with 1/2 toilet roll. There was no restaurant I ask for an iron as advertised brought iron and ironing board but iron didn't heat so took down next morning and ask to be replaced but didn't get another at all, had to ask for toilet rolls, should not have to ask even in cheapest places. Went for breakfast was asked do we want tea or coffee waitress went away to get it brought it to us then went off again, came back and ask if we wanted cooked breakfast I asked if they had cereal and she said yes so she brought us that then left again, we had finishedcereal before she asked about cooked breakfast again, we asked if we could have toast as well which we did get. They did not ask anyone else if they wanted cereal and others ask how we got it and said you have to ask for it. Came in at 9.30pm and could not get a drink everything closed up. Could say a lot more, but would not recommend this Hotel at all and won't book it again.

The hotel has improved a lot since the new owners took over, we stayed last August and said never again as it was filthy, I’d seen it had been taken over so thought we’d give it another chance. Its in progress but the rooms are now clean and they are slowly refurbishing them a few at a time, we will definitely return in the near future.

Dont book at this hotel. Its filthy. How the hell this gets 4 star I will never know !! White paintwork is black. Carpets are stained. Walls stained Mould on blind in bathroom and shower blind. Threadbare carpet on stairs. Strange odour in room. Breakfast is very bland and tasteless. skirting board covered in grime and dust ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. We tried one breakfast. We didn't bother again. The pictures of it on their website is nothing compared to what you actually get. We only booked this place because it was 4 star and it looked nice on the pictures.
