Prom Hotel

First time staying here although have stayed at the sister hotel The Pier, Gorleston before. Staff are super friendly. The food was excellent. We had dinner in the bar and breakfast had lots of choice. The hotel and bar have a lovely feel about it. And the entertainment, jazz singer Jack was brilliant. We had a superior double with a side on sea view which was spacious and very clean. Was a bit of a treat as seeing a show on the pier as we usually stay with family just down the coast in Hopton but will definitely stay again. Thank you Moira and Ian and team for being so welcoming.

I have stayed here for the last 3 years and this weekend of July 11/12/13 I booked this particular room last year for this years stay, we went to our room which was lovely however the air con had broken, they had put a fan in there but as we all know they are not the best for keeping rooms cool and it was close to 30 degrees when we arrived Friday afternoon we went down to reception and mentioned it to the lady in reception she apologised and replied it had t worked for ages and should have been fixed back in the winter. Friday night was very hot and not much sleep was had I got up to find the hairdryer was on the wall in the bathroom previously the hairdryer was the usual plug in one found in a draw so I started using it however the piece which you hold was loose and was burning my hand so I wrapped a dry towel around it to use it! We mentioned it to reception and was told there would be the usual type in a draw. My mistake I didn’t check and got up Sunday only to find there wasn’t one. So again used the one in the bathroom. That said the hotel is in a lovely position close to town/beach etc the staff are very nice and welcoming. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast which was lovely service was fantastic and we also ate in the bar on one night and have also previously ate in the bar/bistro and food was lovely and service was again fantastic. My only complaint is maintenance of the hotel/rooms would I stay again yes but I would make sure if I did and it was hot that the air con works

Luckily our first choice restaurant was full so we came to the Prom hotel as it looked very nice. You can sit in the main bar area watching footy, in the Strollers posh restaurant, or in a sectioned off restaurant area in the main bar (the Old Bistro). Lots of choice on the main menu but also a daily special menu. This had Sunday roasts on so beef and turkey for us. A nice big plateful and it was all excellent. Top service from nicely uniformed staff.

A great Hotel close to all amenities it's a very chic establishment. Its well worth visiting accommodation, bars Restaurants and food and service is brilliant It boasts great views of our fantastic seafront its got everything a person/family could ever wish for. Its so clean and lovely

The beach n city centre is jus few minutes away.Theatre was in front of hotel.various entertainment games zones was at every few minutes.Good for kids n adults to enjoy.The drawback is that Hotel don't have parking .so you need to pay extra for parking which is 15 pound for 24 hours little bit expensive.
