ただ、建物が古いので室内もやや古さを感じます。
下でレストランを兼業されていらっしゃるだけあって、朝食のボリュームと美味しさは保証します。

Charming traditional village pub and restaurant. Carefully prepared freshly cooked food. Breakfast exceptional. Clean and cosy rooms with everything you need for a relaxing stay, bed very comfy. Would highly recommend. Very close to Stowe and Bourton.

The Lamb has been revamped and is now a Brakspear pub run by Eliot and Kathleen. Their background in high end dining means that the food is delicious. The beer is great and the new decor is a vast improvement. It is early days but this is a wonderful new direction for the Lamb and they will deserve every success.

Newly refurbished and raring to go……….The rabbit pie was excellent and Brakspears Gravity was just terrific. Great cask conditioned ale and nice lux country pub vibe……….. Kathleen & Elliot now in charge, lovely friendly welcome…………………

I was there on first night of reopening after the refurbishment, and despite numerous challenges, Kathleen and Elliott did an amazing job! Rooms are super comfy and food excellent. Cozy, clean and friendly - all the staff were great. Just make sure you arrange transport in advance from the train station if using - it is not easy to get a taxi when there!

Very clean and our room was ok for just sleeping in, but very small. The TV was so high up, it was pretty much touching the ceiling. Breakfast was good. Most staff were friendly and welcoming. The location was lovely, and close to Bourton on the water.

What a little gem of a place! Quant, historic and yet fantastic modern bathrooms and facilities. The staff were just incredible and nothing was too much to ask. We will be back!
