They hardly clean the bathrooms - there was a terrible stench coming out of the bathtub drain and the actual bathtub was also dirty and the manager on duty was not fazed when she was informed about this. The very worst experience :(

I had a fantastic stay! the rooms were spotless, warm and very comfortable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, especially the lady at the reception. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Northampton for a night or two.

I stay at this hotel whenever i am on a business trip to my head office in Northampton. I find the location ideal based on the edge of town with such easy access road wise to all the major routes. The hotel has recently undergone a refurb and the premier plus rooms are spot on in terms of comfort, quietness and cleanliness. I have on many occasions been greeted by the friendly welcoming face of Nichola on the reception desk who has always remained both polite, supportive and throughout my stays which does give you the feeling that nothing is too much trouble to ensure that us customers enjoy their stay.

This hotel is tired. Definitely not up to usual Premier Inn standard (I’ve stayed in many). Room smelt musty. Poor heating system which “beeps” every few minutes. Depressing reception area. But the absolute WORST part was the affiliated “restaurant” across the car park which I am shocked that Premier Inn continues this affiliation. It was disgusting. Walked into filth. Although quiet (one couple and a table of 4), all the empty tables were full of dirty plates and glasses and the staff were not even bothering to clean up. The carpeted floors were literally covered in food. Chips and other large amounts of food debris smeared into carpets. Staff had their own table where they seemed to just sit around chatting at and on their phones. The person who I assume was the manager was lounging there with his shirt unbuttoned almost to his navel chatting and joking with the staff - it is without doubt the most unprofessional behaviour I have ever seen in any restaurant/pub/cafe. Every surface sticky. Paint peeling off the walls. And that was in the public space - I hate to imagine the state of their kitchens. I could go on, but this gives the gist of it. Premier Inn are letting themselves down by having anything to do with this dodgy establishment.

Stayed here for one night. Clean hotel, very handy location just on the outskirts of Northampton. Check in easy, the blonde woman on reception whose name I didn’t get was lovely. My room was one of the new style modern rooms and it was ideal, served its purpose very well for the one night stop over. I would stay again.

Not the best experience, I found the reception staff not helpful at all , I went to breakfast asked for more coffee pods and remote to be fixed before we returned from breakfast neither done for us , Breakfast also really bad couldn’t even get a coffee also food served cold and there was no way it was even at a legal holding temp and staff didn’t seem bothered
