The sitting room has a working fireplace and maintains much of it's original character and decoration. The dinning room is cozy yet can comfortably accommodate 15 people with plenty of space to spare. As a former Bed and Breakfast the house is equipped with a commercial kitchen that includes a Viking stove and oven, coffee maker, toaster, water heater, microwave, dishwasher, large restaurant grade sink and professional cookware. We stock all the plates, bowls, cups and flatware you will need to entertain large groups. There is also a laundry room with a full size washer dryer.During the summer months the main floor remains cool during the day with the stone and wood floors tempered by the cool evenings and mountain breezes. In the winter you can use the wood burning stove in the family room and the gas stove in the dining room. The fireplace in the sitting room is unfortunately under maintenance and not available for use at this time. The bedrooms on the second floor have their own air conditioners and individual smart heating controls to accommodate everyone's temperature preference. The house itself is nestled on 1 wooded acre with a large lawn. There is an outdoor picnic table where you can enjoy a glass of wine in the evening or your morning coffee. Please note that this is an old house built in the early 19th century. Things are worn and there are many imperfections.
