Never use it I had Covid19 and they didn’t return my money

Quaint, clean & gorgeous area reflecting back to days gone by in a cute little motel. Used #8 as our base for visiting places in the area. We totally enjoyed our stay and would recommend Little Lion Inn to other travelers. (Take in the view up the hill behind the building!)

I can’t express how disgusting this place was. Nothing good to say. The air conditioner was like a lawn mower going the entire night. Was so loud, did not sleep. The bed was sagging. The pillows were lumpy. There was mild on the walls and water damage There was no shampoo. No kettle for tea or coffee. You had to drive to the main hotel. No staff. Dirty toilet. Awful creepy decor. Crappy tv. Absoutely disgusting and for $279.

There was no table in the room. No place to put my laptop. There is no counter space in the bathroom. No place for toiletries or tooth brush. There are two unusable chairs in the room so low that getting up required extra effort. They never cleaned the room or replaced the towels. We had to buy additional toilet paper. There is a main building with a table. They locked it and made it clear that we are not allowed to use it. We booked and paid for 6 nights we left after 4 nights. One star is too many.

Quaint and charming motel with a beautiful view and clean accommodations. Dogs are allowed here too and a fire pit allows for s’mores to be had by all, and are provided by the thoughtful innkeeper, Rhonda, who also provides sleds for extra fun. Skiing is also nearby at Butternut ski resort. Hiking trail across the street as an added bonus. Don’t forget to grab a delicious bite at the local town about ten minutes away. Say hi to Rhonda for us!

This place has all of the basics for a comfortable, convenient stay. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was ample. Most importantly, the Briarcliff has an unbeatable location - across the street from Monument Mountain and minutes to Great Barrington and Stockbridge, you have the best of the Berkshires right at your fingertips. Combine all of this with the wonderful, hospitable innkeeper, Rhonda, and you will be set up for a good stay at a reasonable price point. Be sure to take advantage of the cozy fire pits at night - this was a highlight for us. We plan to return!

We spent 3 nights at the motel (room 12) and were very disappointed as the reality doesn’t match what is being advertised. Cleanliness is a real issue: - stained carpet - stained curtains - dirty toilet bowl (no toilet brush) - smelly fridge - filthy bathroom floor Other issues included: - broken curtain pole - ill-functioning blinds - broken alarm clock - missing light bulbs - slow draining sink - WC unit constantly running - damaged toilet seat - torn and threadbare bed linen - one bed side lamp barely attached to the wall - noisy conditioning unit that buzzes intermittently The breakfast was of poor quality and didn’t meet expectations based on what was promised. Above all, hospitality was terrible with a host who wasn’t interested in greeting us on arrival or at breakfast. She was also unable or unwilling to assist with local information. It is a shame that the motel is so badly maintained as it has great potential to be a lovely property. It is conveniently located between Great Barrington and Stockbridge and the setting is very nice. Our room was spacious and the large bed was comfortable however the reality doesn’t comply with what is being advertised. A bitter end to our New England holiday….

I admit to being fooled. I saw the pics and that they were "a sister property" of the Red Lion Inn and made a assumption they were a nice small and not as fancy version and I was wrong. No one at the property to help with problems and my room(#14) window shades did not work , curtains didn't cover the windows and could not sit in the old IKEA chairs, room was not clean, I could not stay! In my 67 years that has never, ever happen,

Great home base for lots of exploring in the area. Room is on the small side and older, but quite clean and very well equipped (I wish it had a coffeemaker.) I appreciated a decent sized freezer that fit my oversized cold pack. Breakfast was rustic and plentiful, but not really okay for someone watching their carbs for health reasons. Great strong coffee with everything you could want to put in it. Loved the dog friendly atmosphere, even though we weren't travelling with ours. It was a nice, clean, quiet, casual place to stay.
