Abbiamo scelto La Bastide Saint Antoine a Grasse per festeggiare i nostri 25 anni di nozze e per fare un giro in Costa Azzurra che non avevamo mai visto. Il soggiorno per l'alto standard di qualità indicato non è stato soddisfacente. Certamente la location è molto bella ed i giardini a terrazze offrono relax e questo è l'unico segno distintivo della struttura. La suite prenotata per noi era old style in legno e le luci del bagno non funzionavano. Il personale addetto alle camere è esterno. Sulle nostre finestre che davano sul portico c'era scritto che la struttura non si prendeva la responsabilità di furti qualora non avessimo chiuso le imposte e le porte. Il personale alla reception non crea un legame fidelizzante con il cliente nè propone delle escursioni e/o cose belle da fare in zona ; buongiorno, buonasera e ti riconsegna la chiave. La colazione (che non si riesce a capire perchè viene saldata separatamente) viene servita in un piccolo terrazzo con panorama ma non è mitteleuropea e non offre ampia scelta di cibi e bevande. Il ristorante non ha incontrato il nostro gusto, la nouvelle cuisine francese secondo la nostra opinione è forzatamente contaminata e priva di sapore. La piscina non prevede la sorveglianza e nessuno ti indica dove sono i teli. Non c'è servizio al bar perchè non cè un bar. In un posto così incantevole ho dovuto rincorrere dei camerieri che vedevo per avere un cappuccino al tavolo dove volevo semplicemente star seduta per leggere un buon libro. La clientela è molto matura ed internazionale. Non vengono organizzati light dinner nè per familiarizzare tra ospiti nè per bambini (non c'è uno spazio dedicato per i bambini). Molto deludente!
