Everything was all ready and clean when I arrived. Breakfast is enough for my active day. Everyone is accommodating to my needs. Until next time. I highly recommend the place.

Not impressed with check in. In the afternoon I received a message asking if I wanted to book a table for dinner, I said I was still travelling and did not expect to arrive till 8:00pm so to book a table for 08:30 but I might have to cancel if I was held up. I arrived before 7:00pm and was told there were no tables available inside (there were at least 6 tables available in the room next to the bar at the time) and I might be able to get one outside later (thunder and lightning storms were forecast in the next hour). We went elsewhere for dinner.

Donnerstags Abend etwas passendes in der Nähe gesucht und die positiven Google-Bewertungen gesehen. Meine Meinung: es passt alles hier bei Messerschmied! Freundliche Bedienungen trotz vollem Gasthaus, das Essen kam zügig und es war mega-lecker! Auch rundherum bei den anderen Gästen hörte man nur Lob. Die Portionen sind zum Satt-essen. Die Preise sind angemessen und im hiesigen Vergleich eher günstig. Zu empfehlen!

Den Chiemgau kennen wir bereits und wussten somit auch um die hervorragende Lage des Hotel/Gasthofes Messerschmied in Rottau. Hier 4 Nöchte zu übernachten war eine gute Wahl. Unser Zimmer war groß, Bad ebenso, alles passte, auch die Betzen waren o.k. Der Service, sowohl für's Hotel als auch im Gasthof war sehr gut, alle Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Großes, leckeres Frühstücksbuffet. Wir kommen gerne wieder bzw. werden den Messerschmied auch weiterempfehlen.
