Best Western Kent Narrows Inn

The door to our room didn’t seal completely. A lot of air came through From outside. So much that we had to stuff the crack with plastic bags to try and stop the air from coming in. The room was beyond humid!! We had to go to the nearby target and buy a dehumidifier. As seen in the picture, It’s a pretty sizable dehumidifier. I was having to empty it every four hours!! I would definitely not choose this hotel again! I paid over $336 To stay in this room, I feel more than cheated.

This was a short, one evening stay, out by 8am the next morning. I am rating this as a two star hotel, as it was what I wanted to keep everything in perspective. The location for me was perfect, as we were visiting the Cult Classic Brewery for an event. It was extremely convenient. The hotel wasn't busy, but check-in and check-out were efficient. The front desk was pleasant and fulfilled any questions I had. Our 2nd floor room was quiet and very new looking. I believe this is a "newish" motel, and everything was very fresh inside. All room amenities worked, or did what they were supposed to do. I say this because too many motel rooms have outlets, USB ports, even lamps etc that don't function... so I don't take anything for granted. Everything was perfect in our room, just like it is supposed to be. This was a pleasure!!! This motel sits close to HWY 50 but we heard absolutely no road noise this time of the year. The location was convenient as I stated for our event, and even more so because a great restaurant was right across the street. If we walked 100 feet that was a lot, so we didn't need to move the car. The front of the motel faces toward the west (rear to the east) so we got a piece of the setting sun, and in general the ambiance of being so close to the water. There was also the Kent Narrows Christmas tree exhibit right across the street as well as the Fisherman's monument. So, a bit of fun items to view without needing to get in the car. The morning breakfast at the motel was included, and contained all the standard breakfast fare we have come to expect. While not busy, it was served as you would want it and neat and orderly. All and all, the hotel added to this short, get away trip from the Baltimore area nicely.

My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. Our experience was just ok. When we checked in, our rooms tv did not work. So the gentleman at the front desk came up, could not get it to work. So he moved us to the room next door. After we packed our stuff back up. He told me to come to the desk to get our new room keys. I went down about 10 minutes later. For some reason he could not give us the keys. The computer would not let him. So, he moved us to the next room down. Pack up again. We finally had our room. Although, the ac was barely adequate. Covers on, covers off all night. Overall the stay was just ok. The gentleman at the desk did his best. Not sure if we'll be back to this hotel. Good thing we're not a couple of "Karen's"

First and last time staying at a Best Western. I stayed in the hotel for a wedding on May 25th. I checked in with my dogs both service animals and their vests on. The clerk did not have me fill out any paperwork for my animals even though he saw them and did not ask about them so I assumed we were good. In the room there were only 3 lights so it was dark and extremely dingy. The clerk put me in a handicapped room, why? I don't know. It seemed weird having a wheelchair accessible bathroom. To add unto all of this the water for the shower was ICE COLD. I left it on for roughly 20 minutes and it did not get warm at all so I had to take a bird bath in the sink. When checking out I got a receipt from a different clerk and told her about my issues. I noticed there was a charge for my pets. She reassured me that it would be taken off and she will speak to the manager. The charge was not taken off. I called the next week to speak to a manager on a wednesday. A disgruntled man answered the phone, sounding very lazy and that he did not want to be there. He told me a manager named Mark would call me back. I never received a phone call. I called again the following week to speak to the same female that checked me out. She said she would speak to her manager again and that it should have been fixed but the clerk that checked me in said that I did not state I had animals and was trying to sneak them in. Check the cameras. I was not trying to hide them at all. They're lucky I didn't ask for a full refund since I couldn't even take a shower. This place is the bottom of the barrel and trashy. Only reason why I stayed there is because my friend recommended it for one night but clearly stated it's only good for one night. They were wrong. This stay has made me not want to ever stay at a Best Western again and I won't.

Very nice stay. Rooms were extremely clean, front desk was helpful. This is an old style motel with outside room entry that has been renovated. It does still have that feel about so it is definitely not luxury. If you are looking for that, I would recommend the three other modern hotels in the area. However, it does have charm and for the price, worked very well for us. Ask for a bay view on the 4th floor. We asked to move up there and the views were spectacular. There is an elevator, and a small indoor pool. Breakfast was very good. Lots and lots of choices, fresh fruit etc. We were impressed by the choices. Very quiet and not many kids, which for a weekend away without our kids, was perfect. Great bars and restaurants within walking distance!

The man who checked us in mumbled so much honestly didn’t understand what he was trying to say. I felt rude asking repeatedly what he had said. The facility was very outdated and dirty. The pool and jacuzzi were disgusting. The hotel room was not thoroughly clean. I have stayed at all the hotels in the island and this was the first time I was disappointed by one of them.
