It felt like returning to my parents' home in a cozy atmosphere. The room and washroom were clean, and the room in particular was cute and nice. Although it's not very spacious, we had a comfortable and pleasant time. Dining was also nice. I only stayed for one night, so I wanted to stay longer.

Absolutely wonderful. Lovey room, very comfortable beds, 2 comfortable chairs to relax in, great breakfast and excellent hosts. This is B&B perfection. Grange is a great base for seeing the Lake district. It only took us 1hr to drive over to the west coast to see Muncaster Castle. We would wholeheartedly recommend this B&B to anyone who wants a great place to stay and say to book direct with them.

We have stayed with Geraldine before and were happy to return. Somerset House is a traditional seaside B&B, it is clean & comfortable. The owners take great pride in providing reasonably priced accommodation and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We were cycle touring, there is space to store bikes. Geraldine and Gill, as cyclists themselves, understand the need for a comfortable bed & hot shower after a day on the bike. We would recommend this place 👌

The loveliest B&B with thee loveliest staff who made my family feel so welcome and couldn’t do enough for us (Geraldine and the lady at breakfast) Immaculate, nice breakfast and nice view from the bedroom. Would definitely return and recommend

Le dimanche de Pâques mes 2 filles ont eut un gros oeuf en chocolat, c'est très gentil.

Lovely room in a nice spot close to town. Geraldine the owner was so welcoming we felt really at home! Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast excellent. Somerset House is near enough to walk to seaside and promenade and close to station for days out. Would recommend for a pleasant short break :-)
