Check-in delayed and bad, they didn't find confirmation of Tripp's reservation and I asked for the reservation in the app of Trip apartment adapted to my 83-year-old aunt with comorbidities, I had no request, we had to show the voucher several times, Only after I found the receipt in the application is that they confirmed!

To be honest, I am not satisfied with this hotel. I checked in at 9 am. The hotel said that there was a room, but I had to pay half a day's room rate because the normal check-in time was after 3 pm. I have to say that although the regulations are like this, it is the first time I have encountered a hotel that operates like this. After checking in, I found that the building opposite the room was under construction. Needless to say, the noise was very close. The key is that the distance between the buildings was very close, and the curtains could not be opened. Then we were going to go out to buy some bottled water. We went downstairs to ask the doorman which direction the nearest supermarket to buy water was. As a result, the doorman said that the nearest supermarket would take 15 minutes to walk. I will help you get a taxi. According to my own life experience, I didn't listen to him and went out to look for it myself. It turned out that it was only 100 meters away. Speechless 😓. In addition, there are few varieties of breakfast. Except for more fruits, there is nothing good. Regarding the location of the room, I later went to the front desk to adjust the room. The front desk said that changing to the other side would also face the construction site, so I had to give up. The only thing worth praising is that the check-out on the last day was that the front desk readily agreed to delay it to 2 pm, which was good.

Hotel environment is very good, sanitary conditions are good, very clean. The rooms are spacious and the facilities are perfect. The breakfast is good, the food is rich, the fruit is a lot, and it is very fresh.

Overall, the room offered excellent value for money. I really liked the charming retro decor – it's clear a lot of care went into the design. Having a smart toilet, a kitchenette, and a washing machine made it feel very well-equipped for longer stays. The breakfast was a definite highlight; it used high-quality ingredients, offered a great mix of Chinese and Western options, and they even focus on sustainability, which is a nice touch. The staff were also very friendly and provided great service. On the downside, there was a noticeable musty smell in the room, which was quite strong. We also spotted a few minor cleanliness issues, like dirty windows that made it hard to clearly enjoy the view outside. Lastly, the shower pressure was quite weak.

My stay at the Mercure Hotel Thumb Plaza was a wonderful surprise! The hotel boasts an elegant and sophisticated ambiance. The lobby is tastefully decorated in a minimalist yet chic style, and the hallways are carpeted with plush rugs, offering excellent sound insulation. The rooms feature soft lighting and expansive views from the windows, making you instantly feel relaxed.

The service was impeccable, attentive from check-in to check-out. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient, and they proactively offered information about nearby facilities. The rooms were spotlessly cleaned daily, and requests for extra items were handled promptly – their professionalism shone through in every detail.

The facilities are also excellent. The king-sized bed in the room was soft and comfortable, and the toiletries were of good quality. It offers fantastic value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit!

My family and I had a fantastic stay at the Grand Mercure Ambassador Hotel and Residences Seoul Yongsan. The hotel is conveniently located near the Novotel Ambassador Hotel, which is connected by a linkbridge to Yongsan Station. Yongsan Station is a hub of activity with both shopping and a train station, making it incredibly easy to get around and explore the city.

Right in front of the hotel, there's an IT mall and a convenience store, adding to the convenience factor. I stayed in a two-bedroom apartment, and it was absolutely wonderful. The apartment came with all the amenities, including a washing machine, which made my stay even more comfortable.

Overall, the location, amenities, and connectivity make this hotel a top choice for anyone visiting Seoul. Highly recommended!
