Lone Eagle Lodge

Initially, I wasn't sure what I thought when I first pulled up. It looked rather rustic but once I went into the room I was pleasantly surprised. It was a little small but fine for our family of 4. The bed was comfortable and the room was spotlessly clean. I was quite concerned when I found out that there was no air conditioning because it was exceptionally hot but was happy to find that they already had 2 fans in our room and when we mentioned that we were still hot they brought in a portable air conditioning and we were quite comfortable. All of the staff were very friendly and responsive. Communication from the hotel was timely. Absolutely loved the location - we could walk to everything in town. Also, our family loved the Mexican food truck in the parking lot. They declared it one of the best.

The king bed room was on the second floor, steep steps. The room was very very poorly laid out, back side of the room, were the coffee maker is located, was very dark, no light at all, also you would not be able to reach the clothes rack, to hand you shirts if you are not at least 5.3 ft tall, it's very high. There was no table or chairs in the room, so if you wanted to sit down and us a laptop the only place was the toilet. All the electronic thigs in the room took a while to figure how to operate once you found the 4 remote controls. The fan spun to fast on low, the fancy hanging light was unimpressive, the TV was a Roku TV (volume is located on the right side of the remote control). WIFI advertised did not exist, when checking with staff they said they would check on it, then disappeared and never returned. There was no air-conditioning in the rooms and only one window with out a screen on it (this way the mosquitos could eat you at night, the room was very hot (80 degrees). Parking was awkward as the lines on the road where so dim the cars took up two spaces in the corner area by the King Room parking area. No breakfast, be sure to read the listing before booking, as things you would think are standard are not provided. There was never anyone at the front desk area and very short handed in our opinion. We would never consider this place in the future.

Liked closeness to where I wanted to be. Code from email didn't open the door. Had to go to office to get new code. Wifi info not included in email

It is located in a really nice small town. I reserved late and arrived right at sundown. Looking forward to walking the town tomorrow. Many dining options and shopping available

Comfy lodge! This Lodge was perfect for what we needed for 2 nights. It had great seating areas, nice bathroom and good beds. It was in a great location and appreciate the customer service to help combine two reservations into one.
