The whole staff has an amazing hospitality. Everybody is so passionate about the resort and their own job. Once you enter you can immediately see how much they love their job and how proud they are of Lux Grande Gaube! In particular Elena is amazing. She arranged a special gift for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Europe can learn much from Africa in terms of hospitality.
That is why we came to Mauritius and Lux Grande Gaube did not disappoint at all. Till next time, we will take the kids with us!

The hardware and decoration are good, but the room type is a bit small. The service is very poor. Except for the spa at the front desk, other staff have basically no service attitude. The air conditioner was broken and not cooling. I called three times and said they would send someone to fix it, but no one came. I called the fourth time and said they would send someone to fix it. After more than 20 minutes, he called me back and told me that someone would not come to repair it until tomorrow afternoon. I even made an appointment at a restaurant at the wrong time, and without any remedy, I had to go to the buffet.
The beach is very small, so it’s not easy to take photos.
A hotel that is highly not recommended.
