Hotel Indigo Grand Cayman

We stayed at Hotel Indigo from 31st Aug - 5th September. Upon arrival we were happy to see our room was ready around midday! Quick and easy check in with complimentary cocktails on arrival. We did self park but the valet is also available complimentary. We stayed in a double queen ocean view room. Floor 8. Beautiful sunsets and very quiet rooms. The concierge texted us when we left the room late to arrange room service/cleaning later in the day! As it was our anniversary they also kindly left complimentary bubbles and chocolate cake (which tasted great!!) A lovely touch! We spent a couple of nights having cocktails at Pom Pom - I wish I knew the name of the bar tender - as he was delightfully conversational and informative about the island! I recommend the bar nibbles! Pool service was exceptional too - I know we were out of season - but there were plenty beds and cabanas and they offer bed set up, complimentary fruits and water round the pool too, cocktails in coconuts are available and the pool staff were always on hand to replenish your drinks. When a storm blew in and we hid in the bar - they even brought towels round to keep us dry out the spray coming in! Bonny Moon had a great relaxed vibe and great for chilling on the beach - again - the service here was attentive. Overall I would stay at this hotel again - although not directly on the beach don’t let this put you off - there’s a complimentary buggy to the beach if you want it and it came in about $1300 cheaper than staying in a similar room at the Kimpton for the same duration next door. A great relaxing break.

I stayed at Hotel Indigo in the Cayman Islands recently and wow… this place really blew me away. I came down for stem cell therapy and since I have a bad back, traveling can be rough. I was nervous about the trip but this hotel made everything so much easier. From the moment my mom and I walked in, everyone was just so kind and welcoming. I felt relaxed right away. Chaz and the whole staff seriously treated us like family, everyone remembered our names, from the pool guys to the baristas. The service here is honestly the best I’ve ever had anywhere. We booked with Chase points (big win) and even got a free upgrade. Our suite on the top floor felt more like an apartment than a hotel room. I’d sit on the balcony listening to music or watch the sunset from bed—it didn’t even feel real. The pool was dreamy (honestly, I liked it better than the Ritz), the coffee was amazing, food was delicious, and the gym had everything I needed. It’s only a couple minutes to walk down to the beach, volleyball courts, and beach bars too. Before my procedure the staff wished me luck, and when I got back they welcomed me with encouragement that really meant a lot. Between the views, the artwork, the rooftop bar, the colors, the vibe, this place felt like home away from home. I’ll definitely be back.
