Holiday Inn Express & Suites Grand Blanc

Nasty smell checked in after midnight left at 7am the nastiest hotel i been to . The man chick at breakfast is rude . Clean your rooms better it’s just like the red roof inn just 100$ more dollars save your time and energy and book elsewhere this isn’t worth it at all . The shower head wasn’t attached to wall

Motel ok. Beds ok. Clean room, but has carpeting strips coming up and tracks on it. The breakfast lacked. They had no milk so no cereal could be eaten. They only had a tad of sausage gravy and had no more. Really? Why wouldn't they properly stock their food? Out of veggie omelets. They need to get their act together

My spouse and I were in the Grand Blanc area during part of a weekend in July 2022 and had the opportunity to spend a Saturday night at this hotel. Overall, it was a decent hotel. Our check-in process went fairly smoothly, and our room (#225) was clean and comfortable. I also appreciated being able to use the business center computers. There were, however, a few annoying aspects of the hotel. 1) We didn't realize until after we had gotten out of our shower that housekeeping had forgotten to stock our bathroom with clean bath towels. That was frustrating because I was standing dripping wet and had to ask someone to bring up towels to our room. 2) I didn't like the fact that breakfast ended at 9:30 on Sunday morning. We wanted to sleep in, but unfortunately, we slept too long to be able to breakfast here. (I'm not sure why breakfast can't go until 10:00 on weekends.) 3) The room did not have a laundry bag, so I had to ask the front desk for some kind of bag... and all they could give me was a huge trash bag. Not sure if laundry bags are not standard for certain hotel rooms anymore. 4) Some of the staff didn't seem quite as friendly or welcoming as they could have been. In general, the property is nice and we enjoyed our room. We slept well. But some aspects of the way this hotel are managed could be improved upon. I'm not sure whether or not we'll want to stay here again the next time we're in the area. We'll see.

This is a nice hotel. Its newer and has the amenities one can expect for holiday inn expresses. The room was clean and the staff is friendly. About the only thing bad I can say about this hotel is the front desk is not manned after midnight. I couldn't get a desk agent to check me out at 2am
