From the moment we drew up in our rental car (advertising another location we’d had to leave due to building works) we had nothing but smiles, greetings and excellent service. We had understood that we’d booked a sea view but apparently it was our error and we were in the building directly behind (steps away but be careful when crossing the road as the bus whizzes past and it’s a blind corner). The room was beautifully designed (as is the whole hotel) and we also had a generous balcony to sit out on. The room was rarely cleaned before 3pm and often the bottled water was not replaced but apart from that our stay could not be faulted. The food was OUTSTANDING, marvellous dishes arrived at our table night after night and on Valentines Day they really did everything they could to make it even more special. Several evenings a week they have singers in the restaurant but it’s not intrusive. The hotel is on a lagoon, the pool is small but works well for this friendly boutique hotel and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. On reflection I should have perhaps tried the spa and some of the activities on offer but after quite a stressful start to our trip this was the perfect location to rest and relax.

First of all, I would like to thank all the staffs of Baystone as they are wonderful persons who from the first minute to the last made us feel like home. It was the best hotel we visited till now and we will for sure go back there. The rooms are modern and made us feel like we were in another world. The food was very tasty and we enjoyed a lot our Waterski trip with our skipper(Olivier) who was very friendly and patient. It was amazing experience. Выходные проведенные в президентском люксе отеля Baystone оставляют прекрасные воспоминания.Сервис высшего европейского качества,доброжелательный,улыбчивый персонал.Разнообразие кухни заслуживает всех похвал.Архитектура и дизайн отеля и номеров впечатляют.Джакузи со светотерапией,открывающийся вид на море, разнообразие морских видов активности ....,во всем стопроцентное качество. В следующий раз только туда!

Nos llevamos una agradable sorpresa. Llevamos muchos años viajando y es la primera vez que nos alojamos en un hotel de estas características. Siempre que vamos de vacaciones a un país tropical, como es Isla Mauricio , esperamos el clásico resort con su parque tropical, grandes piscinas y acceso a una playa más o menos grande. Pues bien este hotel es muy pequeño, con una piscina muy pequeña y una playita minúscula y a pesar de lo cual pasamos una semana magnífica . El hotel goza de una situación privilegiada y tranquila en Grand Baie. Es un hotel con muy pocas habitaciones pero muy amplias y de diseño como el resto del hotel. Al tener muy pocas habitaciones, las relaciones entre el personal del hotel y el huésped hacen que la estancia tenga un e carácter muy personal con una amabilidad y detalles fuera de lo normal. El chef de la restauración , Franco ( que así se llama) tiene un nivel propio de cualquier restaurante europeo con estrellas Michelin . Es todo un lujo estar saboreando un menú de muy alto nivel en una terraza con las magníficas vistas de la Grand Baie. Y si quieres disfrutar de playas grandes, el hotel cuenta con un servicio de lanchas rápidas que te cruzan la bahía. Tiene un magnífico spa a unos precios muy asequibles . Como único pero, la inexistencia de ascensor en el edificio de habitaciones de atrás , lo que podría ser un problema para personas con algún tipo de dificultad para subir escaleras. El edificio de delante, el principal, si lo tiene y es donde se encuentran las habitaciones con vistas a la bahía y más caras. Sirva este comentario para aquellas personas que quieran ir a un tipo diferente de hotel en Mauricio.

Svantaggi: La posizione dell'albergo non é ottimale perché il sole va via presto, molto prima che dall'altra parte della baia. Basta saperlo e se si vuole stare sulla spiaggia dell'albergo alzarsi un po' prima e finire la giornata prima. Vantaggi: La possibilitá di fare sport aquatici gratuitamente (tipo wakeboard, monoski etc) é sicuramente un grande vantaggio. Lo staff icredibilmente gentile e disponibile, sempre sorridente. La cucina dello Chef Franco merita 6******, deliziosa e sempre variegata. Davvero ottima. Cocktail e Rum della casa buonissimi. L'albergo é completamente nuovo con un design moderno. Noi avevamo la camera vista mare, vale i soldi in piú. Il bagno della camera é spettacolare: vasca con chromo terapia e doccia enorme con effetto pioggia, con vista mare anche quella. Letto enorme e confortevole. L'albergo ha una piccola spiaggia con sdraio, ombrelloni, un piccolo molo e la piscina. I ragazzi della boat house simpaticissimi e disponibilissimi, assolutamente consigliate le gite e lo snorkeling. Wendy vi aiuterá ad organizzare qualsiasi gita vogliate sull'isola. Un bel albergo, tranquillo e intimo, dotato di tutti i comfort. Lo consiglio sicuramente.

Also, wir hatten die Poolsuite: Ein Design-Erlebnis mit 2 Dachterrassen und einem eigenem, großen Dachpool. Sehr sauber, sehr aufgeräumt, sehr cooler Blick aus dem Bett auf den Indischen Ozean. Der Service, durchaus aufmerksam und sehr engagiert. Aber leider gibt es einen Kritikpunkt: Das Essen war so lecker bei Chef Franco, dass ich immer noch einen Nachschlag genommen habe (natürlich kostenlos) und 2 kg zugenommen habe :) Aber dann fährst halt 'ne Runde Wasserski oder gehst beim K1-Weltmeister James Agathe in Grand Baie trainieren. Fazit: Ein Hammer Urlaub im Baystone!

Prenotato per 10 notti,per le vacanze di Natale,nonostante il dubbio che la spiaggia fosse piccola.Devo ammettere che in effetti la spiaggia riservata all’hotel è piuttosto piccola,ma mai piena,quindi ci si riesce a rilassare.Con la bici di raggiunge comunque una graziosa e grande spiaggia pubblica. La camera doppia,nell’edificio che si raggiunge semplicemente attraversando la strada,è molto spaziosa e luminosa, con un letto enorme e comodo, un bel terrazzo e un bagno piccolo con wc e lavandino e uno grande con doccia,vasca e due lavandini. Tutto è moderno e curato. Ogni giorno vengono fornite due bottigliette di acqua. Per la cena, vengono proposti i piatti consigliati dallo chef (un antipasto,una portata principale e il dolce), sempre diversi, ben presentati e di qualità. Noi avevamo la mezza pensione quindi le bevande a cena erano a pagamento. L’ultimo giorno ci hanno permesso di fare la doccia nella SPA visto che avevamo il volo in tarda serata. Per molte escursioni si appoggiano a un sito che pratica un piccolo sconto,ma noi non ne abbiamo usufruito. Il personale è gentile, anche se certe volte un po’ lento. Consiglio di controllare il conto al check out perché a noi era stata addebitata la quota del cenone di Capodanno che avevamo già pagato. Erano presenti bambini,nonostante venga presentato come un hotel per soli adulti.

Nous avons testé le bar et le spa et vraiment, ce fut extrêmement agréable!!!! Le propriétaire du lieu nous a fait visiter son établissement et les chambres sont très spacieuses, claires et lumineuses avec une literie qui semble très confortable! L'accueil est très chaleureux et le spa très professionnel! Merci ! Très bons moments passés chez vous!
