Not complaining, just giving information to future travelers. Service: So I do realise everyone wants something else out of their all-inclusive Mauritius holiday and everybody enjoys different things, but I just think it's worth mentioning there's no pool service at the pools or any bar near the beach at Canonnier. Service in general was very slow compared to other resorts we've been to, being Ravenala Attitude and Veranda Paul et Virginie where we genuinely felt so spoilt with service all round, but more specifically sipping a cocktail on the beach / by the pool. No special touch in the room with towel art / hand written notes like the previous resorts mentioned. Also I missed conveniently receiving the daily programme in our room. Consider this if it something that appeals to you. I must specially mention that we did received absolutely amazing service by Pravesh at Serenta restaurant. Dining: Buffet restaurant has a good variety, different cuisine every night and the food is up to standard. Serenata is closed on Sundays, take note. We had a delicious italian supper at Serenta and fantastic tuna at Navigator. Something to note, in terms of white wine options, they only serve Chardonnay. Pools: Two pools that are in shade after around 3pm. The kids pool is conveniently shallow for a 20 month old to stand by herself. This was amazing. Room: We we're in a superior room (sea facing) - it was too small for us with a cot for our toddler, a tip is to look at the square metres when you book. Also, there's nothing wrong with a garden facing room. Something to note, there's no earbuds, gowns or slippers etc in the superior rooms. Dr on call: our toddler got tonsillitis and the reception, nurse on duty and Dr on call was amazing in assisting us on a Friday afternoon. Thank you for this and our week spent with you, team Canonnier!
