Profcon Resort

Although my one-night stay here was part of an organized group tour, I'd highly recommend the property. It's a 5 minute walk from the famous church, which means it is close to shops and supermarkets. Once you are in the property, it almost feels like a little village with the various cottages spread out. They are very well prepared for the loadshedding impact, with emergency lights, water resources and necessary accessories in each cottage.

We stayed at Profcon for an overnight en route to the Southern cape. The unit was more than ample, bed nice and firm, but not too firm - good nights rest. Their coffee shop closed at 15:30, so be there early or go to other restaurants nearby (Hello You - good restaurant, with Rum tasting also), is just a few meters down the street). Staff were also very friendly, as well as owners, with beautifully restored Singer La mans, kept behind gates and locks. Lovely vehicle! The venue also caters for functions. On site safe parking - I believe parking can become a problem if all units are booked, but it was quiet during our stay with more than enough space.
