"Second stay.
I chose a double room, but I didn't notice when booking that it had no windows. The air is still bad. Next time I will book a room with a window which is much more comfortable.
The hotel is very close to the company headquarters, a 15-minute walk.
The location is good, next to Willy supermarket.
Just over ten minutes’ walk is ICA Maxi
Breakfast is still as good as ever.

"Super nice room with comfortable bed and big windows with a great view. Breakfast was very good and hotel only a 5-10min ferry ride away from Gothenburg center. Only minus was a quite expensive parking lot and booking might be needed in advance, to secure a spot.Definitely coming here again!"

"The hotel was exceptionally clean and organized. They have several great amenities like a sauna & luggage storage for the day (even after you check out). Not far from anything and in a great location. The staff all speak great English and were incredibly friendly! Breakfast was traditionally Swedish with lots to choose from and easy for anyone to find something enjoyable."

"Breakfast: buffet style, good. Wish there were more kinds of fruit available.
Room: size is ok for 1 person, the bed is quite big. Hair dryer, hangers provided. No kettles can be borrowed and you can only get hot water at the front desk.
Staff: i arrived a bit early but the staff let me check in early. nice and helpful
Others: there’s a gym, sauna, outdoor jacuzzi too. Close to a bus stop."

"The location could not be more central in the heart of Gothenburg. The hotel is a stone's throw from both the train and bus stations and walking distance from tons of restaurants and shops. The service is impeccable and the cleanliness exemplary - high gloss is the word!. I am not a pet owner but this little detail will warm the cockles of any dog owner's heart - the doggo welcome corner by the lifts across the aisle from the reception, with a bit of water and some dry nosh. (see picture). Great experience. A heart-felt recommendation for the hotel ,and a rave review for the breakfast!!!"

The waiter was very friendly. In the lobby, there are refreshments and fruits. Breakfast is quite satisfactory, but it is still good.
The geographical environment is excellent. Isolated at the bus station of Gothenburg Central Railway Station. There are also large shopping centers nearby.

AAnonymous UserCozy hotel with friendly personnel, and an okay single room. It wasn’t large, but it was clean. More than good enough for the two nights I stayed there. But it was in need of maintenance though: the doors and such were quite badly damaged.
I’ve added breakfast to my booking, and this was really good! Lots to choose from, and delicious.
One complaint: the rooms facing the street are not soundproofed enough in my opinion, too much of the noise of the quite busy road outside came in😕
Would stay again though, and I heard the double rooms are less noisy as these don’t face the street.

SScullyThe staff working on the weekend were super nice and helpful, and I’ve stayed here many, many times, always so nice & such a lovely boutique place to stay with many awesome things to like. On the day I checked out oh my god, where did this girl suddenly come from? Little wanna be Swedish police officer banging on my door trying to get in. Ok i fell asleep after breakfast? So what. Even after i checked out & and was just having a coffee in the lobby, she came again in my face demanding to know if i had checked out? She was just rude, unprofessional, behavior was unbelievable. Really ruined my experience at the nice hotel Pigalle. Actually, I don’t accept people thinking they are better than everyone else & they think that they can just talk to people like they are a piece of crap. Therefore, sadly, I don’t think I will ever stay here ever again.. Sorry but..

IIrisThe hotel is conveniently located near the train station, within walking distance. The hotel breakfast is scrumptious with a huge variety. We faced issue with our hotel room when the shower drainage is clogged, but the staff allowed us to change room in the middle of the night.

AAnonymous UserSuper great hotel! It is recommended to book a superior room of 30 square meters, which is really large in Northern Europe. It is very cost-effective. The superior room has enough space to separate the bathtub and shower. It has double sinks and is very comfortable overall.
The toiletries have a very special smell, and the Chinese character ”Jing” on the bottle is very friendly. The hygiene is very good, and the cleaning staff is also very easy to communicate with. Even if the room is full of people on weekends, the cleaning is very fast!
The breakfast is good. There are free coffee machines on each floor, milk plant milk, as well as croissants, sandwiches, and snacks for you to enjoy. This is very special! You can enjoy the centuries-old castle architecture without leaving the hotel!
The rooftop swimming pool is said to be good but I didn’t go there. I might give it a try next time!
The location is undoubtedly the best choice for taking the train. The train station is very convenient for business and there are many restaurants and supermarkets. Accommodation is very convenient!
Gothenburg is not big, but the Volvo Museum and the Art Museum are more worth visiting!
special reminder! This city is nicknamed ”Little London” in autumn and winter because it is foggy and rains almost every day! But it’s just light rain, and it will stop for a while, so it’s best to bring a waterproof hard-shell windbreaker to wear over your down jacket! very important! This way you don’t need to bring an umbrella!
The restaurant on the second floor of the hotel! delicious! The sommelier is an Italian guy who is very talkative and knowledgeable about wine. The wine pairings he recommends are very good! It would be great to stay in this hotel and go directly to the second floor for dinner. The set menu is very cheap at four to five hundred Swedish kronor per person for three or four dishes, but I personally prefer a la carte! Recommended raw beef tartare is delicious! Fried artichokes are delicious too! Flounder is also good! Highly recommend this restaurant!
The restaurant is also very loving. It is closed on Sunday night in order to give homeless homeless people in Gothenburg an early Christmas and feel the warmth. All the restaurant chefs and service staff went to cook for them! On the big weekend, it was indeed Nordic style! Thumbs up!

NNaomi JadeLoved the location of this hotel as well as the downstairs communal areas. Also the size of the room was great.
Unfortunately the bed was incredibly uncomfortable and cheap so I barely slept a wink in my 3 nights there. I asked for an extra pillow as you only get one and that still didn’t help.
Staff were lovely when I did speak to them, but you can easily go by your whole stay without talking to someone which is a shame as you don’t get told any information.
There was also no fridge or safe in the rooms which I thought was pretty standard.
Food at the breakfast buffet was really good though. Great options for vegans/gluten free too.
