We have stayed here about half a dozen times now, on our way driving to/from UK. Reception staff are always so welcoming. If you want air conditioning you should request a deluxe room. The rooms are very traditionally furnished, but are perfectly adequate for a short stay. Some bathrooms are more modern than others…but it’s all part of the charm! The beauty of this place, other than admiring the building architecture or the beautiful grounds, is that you have a choice of 3 restaurants on site. There is a gourmet restaurant in the chateau itself, which we haven’t eaten in. There is also a French restaurant La Distillerie, with a great menu selection - we have never been disappointed…the food is delicious. The third restaurant is a mix of French/international dishes - again excellent. This one has outdoor and indoor seating. A beautiful place to stop over on your travels!

L’accueil était plutôt moyen, et le service globalement insuffisant. Le bar, en particulier, a été une vraie déception : la serveuse ne savait pas préparer un Negroni (pourtant à la carte) et nous a servi un verre ébréché pour une bière. Il semble que le personnel soit essentiellement mobilisé pour les événements privés, notamment les mariages, reléguant les clients de l’hôtel au second plan. C’est vraiment dommage, car l’établissement a du potentiel. Dans ce contexte, un geste commercial aurait été le bienvenu, mais il n’a pas été proposé. Enfin, la chambre était correcte mais très bruyante en raison des festivités, et le manque de vraie climatisation s’est fait cruellement sentir avec la chaleur ambiante du weekend (21 juin 2025)

I can only agree with EJR19 who reviewed this place a couple of weeks ago.What a sad tired old place this has become.Dated rooms,understaffed and a truly awful breakfast.A once fabulous kitchen garden is now a wasteland of weeds. The Distillerie restaurant was adequate but not sufficiently good to tempt me back ever in the future.

Réservation annulée 2 jours avant par le restaurant car ils ont accepté un groupe et ne sont pas capable de servir tout le monde. J'avais réservé le restaurant le 16 mars 2025 pour le 1er juin, avant le groupe. Pas sérieux pour un restaurant gastronomique

Un véritable havre de paix au cœur du Pas-de-Calais ! La Chartreuse du Val Saint Esprit est un lieu d’exception, alliant charme historique, élégance et confort. Le cadre est absolument magnifique : un parc superbement entretenu, des bâtiments chargés d’histoire, et une atmosphère sereine qui invite à la détente. Les chambres sont spacieuses, décorées avec goût et offrent un confort irréprochable. Le personnel est d’un professionnalisme exemplaire, attentif, chaleureux et toujours disponible. . Le petit-déjeuner est copieux, varié et servi dans une salle splendide. Une expérience inoubliable, parfaite pour un séjour romantique, une escapade culturelle ou même un événement professionnel. Nous y reviendrons sans hésiter

Coup de coeur pour cet hotel plein de charme décoré avec beaucoup de gout. Parfait pour un petit week end. Excellente cuisine avec 3 restaurants. Un grand merci au staff, c'est rare de nos jours de voir des gens si agréable. Mention spécial pour le Spa ;)

Un énorme cirque ou le patron est le monsieur Loyale, on peut voir les serveurs change de restaurant plusieurs fois par service, il est grand temps de faire du changement… les etres humains ne sont pas des objets malgré ce que pense les nouveaux patrons. Monsieur Constant manque beaucoup

Robert 2 n' est plus un restaurant gastronomique, on voit que c'est un gestionnaire de fond qui ne connaît rien à l'hôtellerie et à la restauration qui a repris derrière M.Constant. Le service est bon mais c'est dur d'ecoper un bateau qui coule lentement mais sûrement .. Fins gourmets passez votre chemin, si vous aimez prendre juste des jolis photos de vos plats allez y...
