Fairfield Inn & Suites Goshen

Former Marriott employee here and frequent guest: If this hotel ever comes up for you to stay, do yourself a favor and don't. The front desk staff is incredibly rude and not welcoming. Had an issue with a reservation I was late to with my mother. Called to have her added as my guest since she arrived first and they ignored my request. When they wouldn't let her check in, Amber told me to have Bonvoy change the reservation, which I did, but she still refused to check her in. Called Bonvoy and they were just as dumbfounded as I was. The worst part was that my mother chose to make a new reservation for triple the price and the staff treated her like dirt. They talked down to her and ignored her when she needed help. Tried contacting the manager, Jennifer, and Amber lied and said she would be in later that evening to which she was not. Sent Jennifer an email and never heard back.

Front desk customer service was horrible. I am a Titanium for Life Member, which provides for late check-outs. They refused to allow me a late check-out. Also, I used one of my free night certificates to pay for the room. I verified at check-in and check-out that the free night certificate was used, and they confirmed it was. However, points were deducted instead of using the free night certificate. Everyone I talked to refused to correct the error. Also, the gym was the worst I had experienced in the Marriott brand. The one elliptical was filthy and did not work correctly. Integrity means everything to me, which is why I am loyal to Marriott. However, next time I come to Goshen, IN, I will stay in Elkhart as this hotel does not show the same levels of integrity as other hotels in the Marriott brand.

Our remote controller wouldn’t work and the man at the desk said there weren’t any others available so we used one from our families room next door. Had a spider in the bathroom. Was noisy from trains in the night. Would not stay here again. The breakfast was nice.

Is very clean, comfortable bed, indoor pool, breakfast ok (cheese omelette, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, bread, fruits, hot and cold drink, cereals) gym, great staff, good TV programs for adults and kids, restroom has mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, alarm clock with USB ports

My problem is not with the hotel. My problem is with the ******* app. I searched for a hotel in New Paris, IN. Your app showed hotels in Goshen, IN. I did not realize the problem until I made reservation. Then could not cancel. Very unhappy. Your AI support was worthless.
