Went on an overnight trip with my mum. The restaurant doesn't open on a Sunday night so we had food in the bar. Food was just OK. The menu selection was poor . We waited quite a while for our drinks to arrive . Overall, everything was average . The place itself is dated. The customer service was poor and for the price one would expect more.

Its grand
I was there for 1 night, I was overlooking the carpark. There were children playing in the carpark until late. The hotel is dated, but I'd say that if you are there with a family that its a better fit

Pure class
The hotel staff and accommodation was excellent I would recommend it to anyone the food was very good and reasonably priced so all in all a great place to stay and the town is on a 5 minute walk and a lovely town with great shops

Lovely hotel but can do better
Overall a very nice hotel but..I stayed in Room 103 - Ground floor close to reception.
People gathered outside my window talking and smoking till late at night and from early in the morning. Yes I asked the receptionist to look into it, same result the next morning. The manager rang me a couple of days later to discuss and give his apologies, they will work at trying to sort out. I am a non smoker and a light sleeper.
Would I stay in this hotel again, absolutely, but not in or around Room 103.

Good hotel, great location.
Nice hotel and good location. Lots of parking. Rooms was spacious but extremely warm. Food was good but service was slow, possibly understaffed. Car park was noisy at night with people leaving the bar so if you’ve got kids or are a light sleeper, ask for a room that’s not overlooking the car park on a weekend

Good but little things forgotten
Grand hotel, I arrived late and had to leave early so could not try spa facilities or breakfast.
Girl on reception was welcoming, I went to my room and slightly dated but overall nice.
I realised I had no toilet roll so went to reception which was swiftly dealt with.
I looked at the restaurant menu which looked very good, but too late to
I went back to my room and thought I’d have a cup of tea before before, unfortunately there were no tea bags,
I then also noticed I only had one towel.
Seems like my room was semi made up.
I was given a nice pack lunch to take with me at 6:30 am with fresh sandwich, cookies and fruit.

Amazing
Had an amazing two night stay couldn’t of asked for better I’m not long over back surgery and from the minute I arrived everyone couldn’t do more espically the girls in front desk going above and beyond and to be able to use the pool first time in over 2 and half years was amazing

Went with 5 friends for an overnight spa deal and was really impressed. The service from when we entered at front desk to the our checkout was excellent. The staff were very friendly and professional and made me feel at home . The lunch area was busy and food was a carvery offering which was good . The spa experience which followed was excellent. I would happily return again . The staff in the spa were very informative. The relaxation room afterwards was a lovely end to my treatment. Dinner that night in the restaurant was delicious a great choice on the menu with staff very friendly and helpful . Breakfast also excellent with an option for freshly cooked food . Our room was large comfortable and modern with a great shower. Also the products in the bathroom were a nice touch . I also used the pool which was excellent with changing rooms spotless . Overall I had an excellent stay and will definitely be back the friendly staff particularly the manager that spoke with us several times throughout our stay checking in with us made the stay feel very personal. Highly recommend can’t wait to return .
