Charming Cave Hotel

If you want a hotel in Goreme, with a good view - of the balloons - then this is not your option, your mood can be ruined in an instant. For this price - there are plenty of other options. We chose this hotel - specifically based on the photos (we looked at reviews, booking, Instagram), there were supposed to be several terraces on the roof with a beautiful view. When checking in, we informed the manager that we wanted to meet the sunrise and look at the balloons. We came at 5 am to one of them - and we were kicked out (how is that??) they didn’t even give us the opportunity to take a photo😡😔. As they explained, the site suddenly became paid - and costs some money, and at the moment it has been booked by other guests😳 We were forced to sit at the tables where we had breakfast - and instead of a beautiful setting - we had a dining table, for a lot of money!!! A question for the hotel manager, why is this not notified in advance?? Why are the conditions unequal for all hotel clients?? I see this as a deception on the part of the hotel - it makes money on whatever it can. Most likely he made a deal with another hotel guest, neglecting the others - wanting to get immediate benefits..😔 The room is a luxury cave, beautiful but damp, things are all damp.. the decor is a bit tired, but bearable. You have to wait a couple of minutes for hot water, the drain in the sink is clogged. Overall, Cappadocia made a good impression. But the hotel left a bad taste in my mouth.

Sono stata 3 notti in questo hotel con la famiglia in 2 suite dislocate in location più bassa rispetto alla reception. Le stanze veramente belle soprattutto la junior suite posizionata su 2 livelli che aveva al piano seminterrato una vera e propria S.P.A. La scala per accedere e’ovviamente stretta ma il locale è degno di nota così come materiali usati e gli arredi. Ottimi anche i kit di cortesia quasi a livello di 5 stelle. La posizione e le terrazze , tra le più in alto di Goreme fanno veramente la differenza, fantastico all’alba vedere le mongolfiere! Veramente professionali i proprietari che si sono prodigati per soddisfare ogni richiesta e consiglio di fare prenotazioni per tour con loro , noi avevamo già fin dall’Italia prenotato con tour operator ma a causa del vento le mongolfiere non sono partite e loro hanno fatto di tutto per ricollocarci l’ultimo giorno mentre il nostro tour operator non è stato parimenti attivo. Invece a mio vedere la tanto famosa colazione dovrebbe essere da loro rivista perché c’è un buffet di dolci ma poi loro arrivano su tutti i tavoli quindi ogni 2 persone con vassoi di formaggi di ogni tipo , e fritto che arriva ovviamente freddo di pollo ed altro. Portano poi un tegamino a testa di uova strapazzate e tipo un pane arabo a scelta tra dolce e salato Noi non mangiamo tutto questo cibo la mattina ed abbiamo rifiutato i vassoi anche gli altri tavoli ho visto che lasciavano i vassoi quasi pieni. Lo ritengo uno spreco di cibo e credo che potrebbero mettere più cose a buffet. Dovessi tornare a Goreme tornerei senza dubbio a questo hotel.

Μια εκπληκτική οικογένεια γεμάτη ζωντάνια, πολλές ιδέες και πολύ εξυπηρετική!Το δωμάτιο που μείναμε είχε τζακούζι, απαραίτητο μετά από μια κουραστική μέρα περιήγησης..Βρίσκεται μόλις 1 λεπτό με το αμάξι από την πλατεία του Γκορεμε αλλά η θέα είναι μαγική! Είναι σαν να είσαι στο ψηλότερο σημείο. Πρωινό και δωμάτιο, τέλειο!
