I liked everything, the location is 5-8 minutes uphill from the bus station, the rooms are good, not all are the same, and not all have a stone ceiling, some are wooden. Breakfast is not bad, the view from the terrace is beautiful.

The Tutquaz Cave Hotel is truly a gem! The property has few rooms and this allows excellent customer care. The owner is kind and very helpful, he organized both the balloon flight and the green tour for us.
It has a breakfast terrace from which you can admire the view over Goreme. What can I say, super recommended!

Great property for the price you pay. Loved it and would recommend. However a few things to be aware (and it wouldn't deter me since I see place being into old structure.). 1) I was in ground floor and so can hear people in the courtyard talking include those that arrive and leave the hotel. 2) the toilet or washroom has a bit of smell from old pipes that I had to close the door to keep the smell in.
Service, especially the older gentleman was stellar. I appreciate they used WhatsApp to connect with me.
I would recommend and come back here again.

A small cosy family business in country side. Don't expect perfect hotel services and hygiene standards. Bring your own towel to wrap pillows, and take all your valuable items with you when you go out as a safe and safety devices hardly exist. Otherwise, the hotelman seems like very local and friendly, may tell you the best places/services in the village.
