Fantastic location. Quiet and private. Friendly hosts and great breakfasts. Highly recommend for a couples weekend away! Plenty of walking trails close by. Kalamunda has very good dining options. Saturday artisans market is a highlight.

Wow - where do I start. We needed a weekend away to mentally relax and recharge our bodies and this was the place to be. The room was spotlessly clean, the bed - so soft - fell asleep and slept so well. The bathroom had a deep bath that relaxed all our sore muscles. The house is deep in history and such a pleasure to stay in. The breakfast - wow try the bread - it is light but yet filling and so so yummy. Pete and Julia were the most amazing hosts - attentive and so informative for local attractions. Thank you - we had a marvellous time x

Beautiful accommodation, so quiet and comfortable. Surrounded by beautiful gardens, quendas, and kookaburras coming in to get fed. Speaking of feeding the breakfasts were amazing, huge servings freshly cooked by the friendly hosts. If they offer you the cheese board, buy one, it lasted a few meals, bargain!

I searched for some where special for a 2 night stay with my husband. First "couple" trip for over 10 years. It was so good, I booked an extra night. Pete and Julia are absolutely lovely. The room was perfect. We booked the Summer house, king size bed, spa, kitchenette and a delicious breakfast every morning. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable, the ambience, the quiet..... it ticked all my boxes. Walking distance to Kalamunda (20min very easy walk) to a choice of fabulous restaurants and bars. We will definitely be back again.

Lovely period property decorated in period style in outskirts of Kalamunda. Lovely gardens and small swimming pool. Great wildlife visiting garden when eating breakfast - kookaburra, parrots and bandicoots. Negatives - no housekeeping at all during our stay of 3 nights, poor availability of coffee / tea in room, extremely small TV in cupboard real strain to watch, small breakfast and on one occasion mould on underside of bread left for toasting, noisy road outside accommodation.

3 days adults only peace and quiet. Beautiful gardens and wildlife. Hosts are excellent and the breakfasts were superb. Facilities clean and very good. The swimmng pool is a good size but there's no shallow end. Highly recommended B&B for a few days R&R.

What a restful little retreat. Our extended family of 9 stayed here for 4 nights and felt rejuvenated and charmed by the gardens (it’s Julia who singlehandedly curates them) and comfortable rooms. We were delighted seeing the kookaburras, lorikeets and bandicoots gather in front of the patio every breakfast morning - the main highlights for us. We have stayed at other b&b before and this was the most charming made special by Pete and Julia’s warm hospitality. Don’t hesitate to book this place!

Extremely comfortable room and bed. Beautiful gardens and lovely pool. Great to see all the birds especially at breakfast. The breakfast was very nice and a good spread of food. Omelette was especially yummy. I would recommend this venue. Julia and Pete are very good hosts and can be proud of their establishment.

The perfect place to relax and recharge yourself. Pete and Julia are amazing hosts; they are present if you need anything and for a very pleasant conversation but at the same time they leave you all the space you want to enjoy your stay. The property is so well kept; clean, cosy and welcoming. We will be back for sure
