Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Goodlettsville, TN

Unfortunately I had money and items that disappeared out of our room. I spoke with manager Amber that was not concerned. I see her name mentioned on other ratings as well. This is the first rating I have ever done. The end of our conversation I told her I would pray for them and I sure will. Those things did not just disappear on their own.

Hoped to make it to the east side of Nashville while on a road trip. This place had good reviews and we didn’t know anything about Goodletsville. Looking at a Google map in a dark moving car this seemed like a great location, close to the interstate and restaurants. In reality we were greeted by one of those mobile police camera trailers with flashing blue lights and a hotel at the top of a very sketchy hill, surrounded by cheap motels and questionable houses. We were tired and had already paid online so we took the risk and stayed. I’ll just list the pros and cons below: Cons: 1. Questionable location 2. First floor smelled like pot 3. Rest of the town was full of more police mobile units 4. Very little parking 5. Not as close to restaurants and shopping as Google maps makes it appear. 6. Parts of the interior showing wear and tear 7. Wifi did not work most of the time 8. TV channels were limited with poor reception There were some Pros: 1. Very nice desk workers 2. Room was clean and quiet 3. Beds were comfortable When we woke up in the morning we looked out the window to see boarded up houses that hadn’t been visible at night. Can’t comment on the shower or breakfast- didn’t use them because we just wanted to get out of there.

Could not get sports channels on TV, espn was scrambled. Steps from 1st floor to 2nd were very very dirty Breakfast was mediocre. Ice machine on floor was broken. Very little hot water for showers.

I canceled my stay at the Country Inn & Suites in Goodlettsville, TN. Upon checking in on July 6, the room was filthy and smelly, so I canceled the reservation. The clerk said the refund of $149.13 would show up on my credit card in about 4 days, but it has never shown up. I called and emailed them numerous times without a response. I finally spoke to the manager, who said she would look into it, but she never did, and then refused my calls. I even called and emailed the headquarters, but they said it was a local matter. I will never book a stay there again!

The only good thing about this trip was that housekeeping was super attentive to our room. Towel were checked daily. We booked this room for a group trip. Upon arrival the police were in the lobby checking on a man living in his van in the parking lot ( left after police visit). Police told our boys not to be outside after dark. Mostly abandoned mall near this hotel . Definitely a sketchy area. There was room for about 4 people to sit in the lobby and that was it. The breakfast area was roped off at exactly the end of breakfast time… we were actually told we needed to leave the eating are about 5 min before breakfast ended. After much inquiry and grief from super rude employees a parent was finally allowed to get the meeting room opened up for us to eat and hang out together. Our team spent several thousands to stay at this hotel and it’s the worst money we spent all week! Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere where the staff isn’t rude to be able to enjoy your trip especially if you are with a group bigger than 4 people.

As parents of girls softball team, we couldn’t stay in lobby past 10 to hang out and chat, even though we were low key. The hotel could use some maintenance upkeep. Front desk staff was wonderful except for kicking everyone out at 10(even though that’s not their fault).

We stayed for 5 nights, the room was comfortable and staff was pleasant. Bed and pillows made for good rest. Room service came every day to exchange towels. Location is well lit and seems safe. Frequent tour traffic while we were there, so breakfast was busy between 8-9am.

Absolutely loved our stay, start to finish outstanding experience. Clean in all areas, delicious continental breakfast, cozy and spacious room. Easy to access, and was also private from traffic. Staff was kind and friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

Great place to stay. The rooms are clean, excellent customer service is provided. It is quite and accommodating for all guests that are visiting. The breakfast is exceptional and they go above and beyond to meet guest needs.
