Property Description
Set on more than two and a half acres, Nido Cabin provides a log cabin getaway just minutes from Hocking Hills attractions. Unplug or stay completely connected via 250 mbps WiFi. We hope your stay at Nido provides rest, relaxation, and a whole bunch of memories to bring home with you.
Nido (pronounced like neat-o) is Spanish for "nest," and our aim is for you to land in comfort in this cozy cabin.
BEDROOMS AND BATHROOMS
The cabin has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The first-floor master bedroom with attached bathroom features a king bed, walk-in shower, and jetted tub. The second-floor rooms each feature a king and a twin. A full bathroom with a tub/shower combo is located off a short hall between the second-floor rooms. The larger of the rooms also includes a small desk.
OTHER INTERIOR AREAS
Relax in the main room on the first floor around a wood-burning stone fireplace and 55" smart TV. Then head downstairs to the basement lounge to play an arcade-style Ms. Pac Man game or an assortment of board/card games you can enjoy around a wood-burning stove.
A fully equipped kitchen offers your typical dishes and silverware (including kid-friendly options), stainless steel pots and pans, knife set, stove/oven, toaster oven/air fryer, crockpot, electric griddle, hand mixer, blender, mixing bowls, ice cream scoop, pizza cutter, pizza stone, corkscrew/bottle opener, can opener, and more. We leave cabinet space open for guests to store their own food/supplies.
Sip a drink from the hot beverage bar in the kitchen that includes a 12-cup drip coffee maker and an electric kettle to make an assortment of provided hot beverage options, including ground coffee, tea bags, hot cocoa, and hot cider. We provide a coffee grinder for guests wanting to bring their own beans to grind.
EXTERIOR
Unwind on the porch swing or rocking chair on the covered front porch that runs the length of the cabin. Then fire up the five-burner propane grill on the back deck to enjoy a meal together around the 8-person deck table that overlooks the wooded back yard. Relax in the seven-foot hot tub on the back patio located just outside the walk-out basement. Set up a game of cornhole with the provided boards and bags or take a walk around the wooded grounds to check out the property's creek.
CONVENIENT LOCATION
Nido Cabin sits minutes from local spots to experience all Hocking Hills has to offer through hiking, fishing, canoeing/kayaking, zip lining, rappelling/rock climbing, visiting a winery, shopping for antiques, and more.
With Kroger and Wal-Mart each less than 10 minutes away, our location allows you to experience a cabin getaway without losing the convenience of being able to quickly grab groceries or pick up something you need.
Guest access:
Plenty of parking is available on our gravel driveway. Four-wheel drive vehicles are preferred, especially in snowy weather.
A guest key code for the main entry door will be provided prior to each guest's stay. This code will be active from the guests' check-in time at 4 p.m. until check-out time at 10 a.m. (We do give a 15-minute grace period for check-out time, but then the key code will be unusable.)
GROUND RULES
It isn't a game if it doesn't have some rules. Here are ours to help make sure you and all future guests have fun and enjoy your stay at our cabin:
1. Guest indemnifies the landlord and the property free and harmless against any liabilities like accidents, loss of property, injury, or death of any person.

8. Check in time is between 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. Checkout time is 10 a.m. Please follow all checkout procedures.
9. Leave the property, including the grounds, as you found it. If you move something, put it back. If you bring something, take it with you. No confetti or glitter.
10. Follow all grill, hot tub, sauna, and pet guidelines. (See below.)
11. Only burn wood and fire starters in firepit/fireplace.
Failure to comply with these rules may result in cancellation of your stay without refund, forfeiture of your security deposit, and/or additional fees. Nobody wants to deal with any of that, so please play by the rules and have fun!
Grill Guidelines
1. Remove grill cover before use and hang on hook near porch roof.
2. Turn off all burners when not in use.
3. Clean grill after each use.

Our stay was great and the location, cleanliness, accommodations, etc were nice and as advertised. We did not stay tonight due to family issues. Only issues FYI (which doesn’t affect our overall satisfaction!!) 1. Driveway needs graded, gravel, etc. for non SUV’s 2. Couch upholstery especially in main living room needs recovered or replaced (first impression when you walk in). 3. Gas grill burners need cleaned, repaired or replaced to work distribute gas/pressure evenly Would we recommend to others or return stay?? Definitely YES Thank you!

Everything was very clean and hosts were very communicative. We enjoyed the location . It was right near our family’s wedding venue n rehearsal. The hot tub was nice . We wanted to have a fire pit but ran out of time. We explored and wished we had more time for hiking.

We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at this cabin. The home has everything you need and I loved that all the cabinets and light switches were labeled. The cabin is close to everything and it was nice coming back after hiking and enjoying the hot tub and fire pit. Definitely a great place!

Weekend in Hocking
Great weekend in the hills! Loved the game room and deck. A little loud in the am (you can hear everything lol) but otherwise a great setup.
