The best hotel in Goma, the service is impeccable, there is a restaurant opposite which is also delicious, the price is a bit high but it is relatively safe.

I'm a regular customer of the Serena and I've been satisfied until now. It was my first time at the Spa and it will be my last. First of all, I made an appointment for a pedicure and manicure, but obviously it hadn't been noted down anywhere and it took them 45 mn to find someone to perform. Then the person giving me the manicure hurt my finger, which bled profusely. We stopped the procedure, but I was still required to pay for it. Having expressed my astonishment, I was still required to pay half, which I did. This spa should be avoided

The hotel is as great for hospitality as expressed by other reviewers. I would even rate it as amongst the best ones in DRC. However, the very liberal approach to lose women activities, encouraged by some of the staff who do seem to even take advantage of it, leads some of the guests to consider any dark skin female visitor as fair game and harass them with persistence. Two of my Congolese friends, although dressed with modesty, who came to visit during my stay had to face such such embarrassing situation what led them to leave the place. As mentioned in some earlier review, control over guests behavior leaves much to desire and relevant measures should be put in place.

Really bad experience .. changed rooms twice first my room water system failed as shower and bath tub had only very very hot water. Second room television screen was blank. Restaurant experience 5/10. Cut fruits are not fresh. Not worth anyone's money at all. Better off paying for a regular hotel than an expensive 5 star hotel with poor services.

This is by far the best Hotel in North Kivu, Goma City, Democratic Republic Of Congo. The hospitality is a true 5 star, the scenery, meals and the overall location, overlooking the famous Lake Kivu. I really enjoyed my stay over the festivities in 2021. They have wonderful packages to suit everyone. Thinking about a holiday destination, try out Goma Serena Hotel.☺️

We stayed at this beautiful property for three nights after a recommendation from a friend. The welcome was superb, the staff at the desk were so professional and friendly. Our room was extremely beautiful, clean, specious and the best of views. The food was extremely nice with lots of choices, and not only lot, we must say the chef took his time to do the preparations. The waiting staff were so professional and attentive. We want to send special thank to The General Manager James who welcomed us on arrival and he checked on us every day. We felt so privileged. Thanks to the Team in Serena, we will be back with a big family. We already miss you guys ...

Service is accommodating, efficient and friendly. There is a health club with a spa, a fitness centre and the outdoor pool, however the hotel knows it is about providing the best North Kivu experience so, on its website, you can find a series of interactive guides and things to do, including city tours, mountain gorilla trekking, water sports, … “Immaculately maintained. What a disappointment for a hotel of this type. Given the prices, $250 per night, we expect the table to follow. What a disappointment... One wonders where the chef was trained... The basics are not acquired... $25 a simple carbonara with white sauce and white ham... Imagine cooking salmon. .. I have eaten much better in small truckers... Only the rooms deserve...
