We stayed at the Royal G Max from September 2 to 16, 2024. Here are the negative points: arrival after 9 p.m. so all-inclusive restaurant closed and no snacks offered. Only solution: a la carte restaurant with expired food (the octopus in the salad smelled bad). Unprofessional and disrespectful staff, rude (never says hello and pushes you into the toilets without apologizing ...) The excursion employee Elton did not want to move. He finally arrived very late, called us thieves and left without offering us any excursions. We were forced to organize ourselves with another couple by renting a taxi for the day. The dishes served in the restaurant were very repetitive, very poorly cooked and cold. Never any Albanian specialties. Lack of hygiene in the restaurant. The hotel bar was paid. All inclusive very limited. Only the pool bar was in the all-inclusive and very little choice. Very slippery marble shower floor (several falls recorded during our stay) This hotel does not seem to suit the French. No one speaks our language in the hotel. No information displayed regarding possible entertainment. Two positive points: the beach and the swimming pool.

Does not deserve its 5* The food is barely reheated. The pool deckchairs are reserved for the week with the complicity of the staff. The reception is very basic and not very available to help you book a car or excursion. You cannot have lunch or dinner outside, it is reserved for people from outside who can come and eat during the day or who can also reserve deckchairs. The beach is quite beautiful and well maintained with deckchairs available. Couldn't really do better!

Great hotel, beautiful beach, rooms with a view of the wide, sandy beach; very good food - lots of seafood. Location right on the promenade, evening concerts by the pool, large pool and separate paddling pool for children. Can safely recommend:)

Hello, Sorry for the hotel but it's a disaster. Very cold welcome upon arrival. The hotel is divided into two buildings. We are directed to the second building. You have to cross the restaurant to access the rooms!!! We are therefore systematically asked for our room number to cross the restaurant to access our room. The rooms are of poor quality, white melamine for the furniture and for the bathroom. The room is made but in 6 minutes watch in hand ... We were all inclusive. But here no snacks or ice cream or cocktails. A canteen at lunchtime and in the evening. The restaurant staff never smile and are content to collect your plate and cutlery before you have even finished your meal. The cutlery is collected then thrown with a deafening noise into the trolleys by the staff. The food offered is correct but does not vary much during a week. The fruits offered were always the same from our arrival to our departure, namely grapes, bananas, pears and watermelons (inedible) and melons of poor quality. The fruit juices are delivered by industrial machines with a mixture of powder and water, it is more like chemistry than fruit juice!!! The beach attendant is awful (the youngest, the other one does his job well), he almost throws the towels at you, no hello or smile. No manager during our entire stay, no entertainment in the hotel. We had booked airport transport for our return which arrived 1 hour late because the hotel had not confirmed!!! The Royal G Max never again. Note all the same a beautiful swimming pool with deckchairs. On the other hand, put your towel down at 8am if you want to have a place. The sea is brown for 50m, you can only walk 50m then it is blue brown but no turquoise water here. Golem is a hotel suite with a beach side alley with small popcorn, ice cream, games, etc. vendors and a street side boulevard with counterfeit shops and restaurants. The excursions are difficult because it takes at least 1 hour to drive to the closest one and 3.5 hours to drive to the most beautiful one (i.e. 7 hours round trip). We advise you not to choose Golem but Saranda Ksamil where we went for 3 days. The water there is turquoise and the excursions (exceptional) on site at the port!!! Hoping to have enlightened you through this report.

This hotel is quite misleading, when we purchased the stay it was a 5-star hotel, but in fact it appears to exist but in a building connected to it. on the first night we were invaded by two gentlemen while we were sleeping, by the receptionist and by a customer who wanted to stay in the same room as us, the next day I went to make a complaint and they told us in a very bad mood, I would even say upset, bad mood, that it would have It was normal because we didn't have a reservation for that night, after we had checked in and settled in to the point where we were already sleeping. in this reception entrance space, yes you can see that it is a 5 star hotel, then they took us through the dining room, where they didn't even tell us how the hotel works, the room was never 5 stars but 3 stars, there is no mini bar , the safe is portable, the water in the shower comes out of the bathroom, we were treated very poorly in terms of accommodation, we made a complaint and were even told that we were received by charity. We were promised as soon as there was a room on the main side that we would rehouse them as we were entitled to, but this didn't happen, not even much explanation, the reception was always in a bad mood. Be careful with all inclusive, this is false, at the beach bar, you pay for everything outside, at the bar next to the 5-star hotel you pay for everything outside too. especially at night around the pool and the street smells a lot like sewage. best points, cleanliness, food, pool and sea water temperature.

We are staying in this hotel for 3 days, me, my husband and a child of almost three years. First of all around 3 am we were woken up by someone who was trying to open our door for these half an hour, (obviously without success) these people had loud music and stayed outside for a while. I complained to the reception that we were scared, they told me that the customers who checked in had the wrong room so they were trying to enter ours or they were drunk. In the meantime we had a bad night. We have the all inclusive but even here there is a lot to complain about because if you get a macchiato at the bar near the reception you have to pay for it. Or if you want an ice cream you pay for it. Being 5 months pregnant I book a message that offers the hotel as "PREGNANT MASSAGE". I book the massage, pay for it in advance, show up for the appointment and they tell me it's not possible because they don't have air conditioning. They ask me if I want to do it in the corridor in front of the entrance to the spa where lots of people pass by. Obviously I refuse and I take my money back. A massage is to relax and not to stay in a corridor annoyed by people passing by. We booked a room for 3 people (paid like that), we were given a very small room without a bed for the child so we had to go to the reception twice to ask for at least a baby bed for our son, it was brought to us at 11pm. In short, I would never come back here again!

I was travelling with a tour group. The hotel is right by the sea, there are comfortable loungers and parasols. It was a bit annoying that work was still being done on the beach to the right and left of the hotel, which is not the hotel's fault. The rooms are clean, beds with good mattresses, 2 pillow thicknesses to choose from, bathrobes and slippers. In the morning there was a delicious, extensive breakfast buffet, Mustafa always provided us with coffee straight away, great service. The evening buffet consisted of around 15 different starters, various pasta, rice, many different vegetables, meat, fish, there was something for everyone and it was delicious. You had to walk around the dessert buffet twice to see what was on display there. One thing that was a bit annoying was that a cleaner was often walking around with a broom during the meal, cleaning the room. The staff who cleared the plates and cutlery should be taught by the hotel how to clear them and not to pile everything on top of each other. Certainly easy to implement. Outside on the terrace the music was extremely loud and competed with the equally loud music from the other hotels. However, when we asked, the music was usually turned down.

We had a lovely lunch overlooking the beach. The service was amazing and the food was excellent! We would recommend asking for the Greek salad and seafood risotto. We will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. Thank you for a lovely experience!

Hotel room (we had number 105) is at most 2-star, including furnishings and cleanliness! Shower/toilet is an insult to the guest (too small, many elements broken or missing)! We wanted a different room - on the second day the deputy manager (according to her statement with two university degrees - as if anyone cared) told us that she would try to get it - never heard from her again! We were there for a beach holiday and we were able to enjoy it. Everything else is not 5-star and is therefore much too expensive! Luckily we didn't book all inclusive. Breakfast was always the same for 8 days. Ate in the restaurant twice - the first time pizza (it was good) and the second time we got the wrong food and the waiter wanted to put the blame on us - pasta not sufficiently punched and far too little on the plate! We will never book this hotel again and can unfortunately only advise against it - definitely not for longer than two days and only if the price is significantly less than EUR 60 per night. Only as an emergency solution!
