Guests appreciate the clean and spacious rooms, along with the great facilities like the pool with a water slide and hot tub. However, there were no specific disadvantages mentioned in the reviews.

We decided to stay here on our way to Vernon to breakup the trip and primarily chose it because of the waterslide for our daughter. First impression , we drove by what seemed to be a junk yard to enter the parking lot which had a makeshift camping site at the entrance (see attached photo).. The gentleman living there had two kittens living with him, incredibly odd and concerning to see with small children running around, this wasn’t adjacent to the parking lot it was on the hotel grounds. Check in went fine, went up to our room and there was a used razor sitting beside the door, it remained there for the duration of the stay with housekeepers walking by regularly, they really don’t seem to care. Room was alright, bathroom door would not latch closed, floor was very uneven and noisy, we got a playpen for our toddler, it was filthy. Pool had a ring of something all the way around, looked like it hadn’t had a proper cleaning in a very long time. The pool ladder near the slide looked home made, it had pvc pipe held on by rusty bolts. “Breakfast” is served in a tiny room that doesn’t accommodate more than 10 people comfortably. Rubber eggs, toast cereal and bananas are the only offerings. For $380 I don’t think bacon or sausage is out of the question. If this hotel was $100-$150 it would more accurately reflect what you are getting. I paid $380 Canadian for this. The holiday inn in Golden was similarly priced, I’ve stayed there before and it was much nicer than the Travelodge. Like I said the waterslide was the main reason for choosing this hotel. I will not make that mistake again.
